I've been using Flapcast on the web for listening to Podcasts on my computer, and it is my favorite web app for Podcasts. This mobile app is a nice companion. It's not feature heavy, but I like that you can pick up where you left off between your computer and iPhone. I wish it had better playback control or scrubbing. Also I had listened to half an episode on the website but when I first downloaded the app, it started from the beginning with no option to skip ahead. This won't replace Instacast, but I definitely think it's worth a buck.

This Is a decent companion to a great web service but I have one major problem, it's inability to play when the screen is locked or the app is closed. It's got some bugs to be worked out, like it listing subscriptions multiple times and downloads not finishing if you navigate to another section before its done, but not being able to lock my screen and have the podcast continue playing is a biggie for me.

Credit to developer for being first (one of?) to create podcast app that streams from the cloud so devices don't get filled up. It needs work. Rough around the edges and enough glitches to make me think it was perhaps introduced too early in its development. Navigation is a bit convoluted and a subscribed podcast is listed numerous times but it's only one subscription. Looking forward to fixes and improvements.
