Great app! I have used this only to sync my birthdays and anniversaries from my Contacts. I already get notified of someone's birthday via facebook. If that person is special enough to me, then I add them to the Occasions app which will then also appear on my calendar. I never miss birthdays and anniversaries because I get notified in advance if I want to mail a card or send a text. (I create a “Contact app” profile for each separate birthday, as well as a “separate” Contact profile for each couple’s anniversary without any further information and there is never any confusion as to whose name(s) appears on my calendar.) I’m older and didn’t grow up with technology. My daughter recommended it. This was easy to begin, although it took a few tiny adjustments over the years. I now get compliments on my tech knowledge 😂 and for being able to remember everybody’s birthdays and anniversaries🤔! Occasions even automatically tells me the current age of a person or how many years for the anniversary. I’ve used it since I first got my iPhone nearly 4 years ago. Occasions app is fantastic and I’ve never been disappointed!

Ok this is update to the update reviews I gave while back..Initially I had stopped receiving alerts after a particular update except for the original alert time I put in when first installing app..meaning if I changed the alerts from the original it wouldn’t alert on new time it would still alert on the old time even tho it was changed.. so I tried other apps but they are so over done!! So I went back to Occasions cuz the simplicity is perfect and I set up my reminders on phone to remind me to check my Occassions app..lol I know🤪 now I finally did my app updates and realized Occasions had an OVERHAUL update!! Well first wanna say..u did amazing u still kept it simple and added eye candy which is beautiful..I love the theme idea hoping in future there will be more🤗not greedy just loving it❤️ I will find out tomorrow afternoon if my new set times on all my alerts will sound at new time and not old..🤞but hey if alert still has issue I don’t care this app and features are still awesome to me, I will use my reminders to look at Occasions if it comes to that😁❤️

And then they tell you how old the people are getting because you put in the year they were born. I like that feature very much. I couldn’t remember if I had to pay for this app or not and I still don’t know for sure. I was telling my cousin about this app and she said she would like it and I was trying to look it up. But it don’t say how much it cost or if it’s free! I gave it five stars, because I like it very much! when it gives me the notice of whose birthday or anniversary is coming up I call my children and to remind them to call their cousins are our friends and tell them happy birthday so it helps all of us! Thanks a lot for making this app! Thank you that it is free, I guess.
