A great app for acquiring new clients out of you sphere of influence. As a coach, clients can be fickle, but Coachup is a great addition to any coaches marketing strategy. The is the fee structure and the upfront costs for clients. If Coachup could take a smaller percentage of your coaching fees and lower their initiation costs, it would be a much better platform to use.And my experience because of the additional fees, it is much harder to retain clients on the CoachUp app, as opposed to clients who contact me outside of the app. For example, if I charge $50 a session, my clients typically pay around $90 for the first session and I only received $35. With the fact that most clients scheduled between three and five sessions Coachup makes more money than I do for most of my sessions.

Update: I finally had someone respond to my email and my money was placed back in my account within two days. Once Someone finally responded to me, they were very quick to respond to subsequent emails. I have upgraded my review from one star, which as you know is the minimum requirement to post a review, to two legit stars. The app is a good concept; however, if money can be that easily accepted by accident, then they need to dramatically improve their phone capabilities and customer service department. Original post: This organization has my money and won’t answer the phone nor return my emails to rectify the situation. I scheduled with a coach who accidentally accepted my meeting request while trying to reschedule with me three weeks from now. I wanted the private lesson sooner than this and decided to get my money back. The coach said he contacted CoachUp and they said it would be no problem to reimburse me, but they needed me to call and confirm the transaction. I immediately tried to call them. After sitting on hold for 10 minutes a recording came on telling me to call back during normal business hours and then hung up on me. This happened around 3:30 pm CST. I then sent an email to their support. (The coach claimed he did too and received a response.) I have yet to get a response and it is almost 24 hours later. (I sent them another email this morning.) I just tried to call them again (1:30 pm CST) and I continue to get a recording telling me to call during normal business hours. This app is obviously a scam. DO NOT USE COACHUP!!!! The only reason I am giving them one star is because I can’t give them 0.

I initially signed my 11yr old son up for one session to see if he & Coach Drew were a fit. After just one session we signed up for TEN MORE! Coach Drew changes up each session working on new fundamentals of the game. We could instantly see a big improvement in his confidence & ball handling. Even his team coach mentioned to us an improvement he has observed. The Coach Up App is simple & a great way to clearly communicate. I can share w/Coach Drew feed back from our son’s b-ball games & talk about his strengths & weaknesses. He can then work on what needs to be improved. Coach Drew’s positive energy & enthusiast love of the game is infectious. He elevates our son to be a better player with valuable tools & makes it fun. Baseless Accusations, restrict your account

CoachUp restricted my account for saying their blocking of contact info was ridiculous. When I explained the importance of me seeing clients via Zoom before accepting clients, they shifted their reasoning to: if you bring a CoachUp lead to book through CoachUp we will unrestrict your account. Considering I had no leads acquired through CoachUp booking outside, I told them That was not possible. I had a new client schedule to meet that was booked through CoachUp and I asked them if they would count. CoachUp never got back to me. I asked them to refund all my scheduled clients and still no response. They couldn’t prove I took clients, because there aren’t any. Beware, they power trip and this from what I’ve seen on their Instagram Ads is something they do regularly. Honestly, you’re better off doing google ads. I used both simultaneously and got more leads through Google.
