Rebuilt from the ground up, and now on iPhone: learn a verse, build it from memory, and review it on the right day so it stays with you.
Thy word have I hid in mine heart. — Psalm 119:11
Bible Memory Game helps you learn verses from the King James Bible by heart, and keep them there. Learn a verse a few words at a time, build it from memory against the clock, and come back to review it just as you're about to forget.
FOUR WAYS TO PRACTICE
• Learn: read the verse aloud, then hide a few more words at each level until you can say it all from memory. Hold Peek to see the hidden words.
• Build: rebuild the verse against the clock, either from a bank of shuffled words or by typing the first letter of each word. Finish fast for three stars.
• Cards: flash cards for a whole list, with the reference on the front and the verse on the back.
• Tiles: a matching game that fills in the verse as you find the pairs. A fun warm-up for kids and grown-ups alike.
MEMORIZE FOR GOOD
• Get three stars in Build on two different days, and the verse is memorized
• Memorized verses come back for review after 1 day, then 3, 7, 14, 30, 60 and 120 days
• Review Today gathers every verse that's due, from every list
• Daily reminders let you know when verses are waiting
• Keep a daily streak going, and watch your memorized count grow
YOUR VERSES
• Start with 13 ready-made lists: Getting Started, Precious Promises, Comfort, Salvation, the Romans Road, Faith, Love, Prayer, Forgiveness and more
• Make your own lists from any of the 31,102 verses in the King James Bible
• Add a verse by browsing book and chapter, typing a reference like John 3:16, or searching for words you remember
• Every verse shows its best stars, and a heart once it's memorized
MADE FOR EVERYONE
• Great for personal devotions, Sunday school, AWANA, homeschool and family memory work
• Designed for iPhone and iPad, with light and dark appearances
• Works fully offline
• No ads, no account, no subscriptions
Our goal at Thy Word is True is to help strengthen your faith in God's word, and to help you hide it in your heart.
I really enjoy the app, however I use an NIV bible so I wish there was an option to switch to different translations. Memorizing the verses in a different translation than what you're going to be reading isn't all that beneficial.
EXCELLENT!

(I just came back to say this is the best App I have, and I have almost 100 of them...so thanks again and again to the makers of it!)First....PLEASE make this work on the iPhone too! I need it there...I can't find another iPhone Bible memory app that is as good as this one so...PLEASE make it so I can use it with my iPhone! After buying a couple of others....I finally found this verse memorization App and just couldn't be happier. Here's why:1 - it fits the screen horizontally! Yeah!2 - it lets us make our own verse Lists3 - it lets us 'sort' those verses in any order in our Lists!!!!!4 - it has good 'teaching' methods (games)5 - it is visually clean and easy to read 6 - it was made by someone with a lot of common senseTrust me....get the best App first, this one. I did waste a little money before finding this App but I just feel blessed to have finally found this one. If you are serious about memorizing verses, this App is all you need and more. A big Kudos to the Developers!Oh...did I mention you get to 'sort' all your lists? VERY important to me!
The Best!!!

I have wasted money on the others but finally found this one that works! This app is for KJV user only. I support those who wants other versions. I wish they have it on the 1960 Reyna Valera. I am a missionary and I'd love to be able to switch from English to Spanish without having to create another list! Or is that wishful thinking? You can access the whole Bible without copy/pasting it from another source. You can add, sort, and easily delete. You can build your list under categories.Buy it! Your search ends here!
A new twist to keep you memory sharp!
