Tank Nation is a free-to-play single and multiplayer game that brings classic tank vs. tank fun to the iPad – with turn-based arcade action and awesome characters. Collect loot, customize your tanks, and blow stuff up!
In the world of Tank Nation, you advance through one-on-one tank combat. You are a tank commander, building and customizing your tanks, and battling and recruiting other nations’ tank drivers. Each nation features tanks with unique attack and defense classes. Build a battalion of tanks, select the best one for each fight, then roll out and defeat the minions and leaders of each nation. Your goal is the build out the baddest tanks to take on other players, and ultimately compete in the Tank Nation Tournament.
In battle, you advance, fire, defend, and deploy multiple weapon systems. You see the field of battle from the classic side-scrolling view, move your tank by dragging forward, and shoot by pulling back to fire. Your arsenal includes:
• Hammer: quad-missile launcher
• Gunsaw: explosive-tipped gatling cannon
• Striker: short-range blast cannon
• Splasher: compressed liquid launcher
• Dragon: short-range spray thrower
• Mortar: long-range explosive launcher
• Shatter Bomb: shockwave grenade
• Gun Drone: independent attack drone
• Walker: all-terrain bipedal chassis
• Jumper: hydraulic leaping chassis
• Glider: thrust-assisted treads
• Reflect Shield: weapon repulsion barrier

Very addicting and fun. Not as buggy as it once was. Wormhole Games is dead, but if you speak politely and clear, you might get a response from their support email.Playing on a 4th gen iPad, I completed the first three stages on all difficulties, but the next stage didn't unlock! As of Feb 2017, this game cannot be finished!Very fun up to that point, though. Wish I could finish it :,(
Bugs and lost items

I really do like this game. Have cleared the 3rd boss even with the crashes and lost energy. However after most recent update I lost a fully researched hydro drive(3 star) and plasma shield on one tank and the driver and gun on another tank. Also when I try to click on the 2nd tank it instantly crashes my game. Along with missing battle loot from crashes during and at the end of a fight I have also lost 280 gems after a crash. I can deal with that stuff but the lack of response from tech on these issues after making a claim is what is really disheartening. Please fixUpdate to game has been more stable but I still have a broken tank that crashes the game any time I try to click on it. I know I am not the only one to have this issue. Either fix the bug or give us some other solution
Fun, But Buggy and Unfinished

Tank Nation used to be fun, but there has not been so much as a bug fix in a long time let alone any new content. The fourth and fifth nations and the "Elite Parts" purchasing option all remain inaccessible.Wormhole Games seems to have gone out of business. Their forums started showing only error messages long ago and now their whole Web site seems to be down with just a "Website Expired" message where it used to be.Tank Nation has various gameplay bugs, but the worst seems to be that the game can lose ALL progress and ALL in-app purchases if an iPad is backed up then restored. All of my items (including rare five-star items) and my gems (many of which I had bought via in-app purchase) were gone after restoration.

This game I assume used to be fun and multiplayer worked but nothing has been updated since 2014 and I really hope it comes back again because I would have loved this game if multiplayer worked or if this game got ANY update such as bug fixes and multiplayer overall good game but still it's sad to see the devs dead and no updates for 3 years I bet it would be a fun game if the devs didn't go bankrupt or something and this game was updated at least once a week 😭😭😖
