Big Speed Improvements! We’ve refactored filters and queries to drastically improve the speed and usability of the app. Your birding experience will be smoother than ever. Areas Radar: Now see birds you haven’t yet spotted in an area that have been logged in Bïndo. Plus, Areas are now conveniently located in the bottom tabs for easy access. Enhanced Listing: Active quicklist reminders and a new start list wizard make creating and managing your lists a breeze. Enable eBird and BirdLasser CSV exports in your profile to get your lists emailed directly to you. Group Management: Add followers to private challenges or collaborative lists, assign multiple group admins, and enjoy collaborative listing where only one person needs to handle the listing while others focus on birding. Explore Enhancements: With huge speed improvements and new back button navigation, browsing through filters and finding what you need is now faster and easier. Bird Distribution Maps: View maps of all Bïndo sightings for individual species and join our beta testing of Afrikaans names. We've improved the filters in Explore. You can now toggle between Sightings, Photos, and Lists. Choose a timeframe or filter by All, Interesting, Unusual or Unverified. We are also excited to announce Events. Keep an eye out for them :)

We've added support so you can now block users or mark your account private. Your sightings, profile and other activities (likes, commenting etc.) will not be visible to blocked users or to non-followers if private.

You can now share your lists with people not using Bindo! We've now added BirdLasser and eBird export settings to your "Edit Profile" screen to give you more control.

We've introduced a dedicated "Listing Mode" to improve listing performance so you can focus on adding birds when you're out and about.

Launching a feature we've been working on for the last few months and dreaming about for a lot longer: Bindo Areas! The "Segments of Strava" if you will. Take a look at the Areas, which you can access from the Listing tab. Dig into the area stats, habitat heroes, area specials, highlights and leaderboards. We've also fixed a number of niggles, including a bug with atlassing.
