With a smartphone app, the AMX alarm server alerts the employees. The app requires GSM or WLAN reception and thus the employee can be reached by the AMX alarm server practically everywhere.
The alarm is answered with an Accept / Reject feedback and if there are enough Accept feedbacks, the AMX alarm server sends an info update to all alarm recipients (which alarm was accepted when and by whom).
