The Planetary Society is the world's largest community of space enthusiasts, started by famed astronomer Carl Sagan and today led by celebrated science educator Bill Nye. Together, we're on a mission to increase discoveries in our Solar System and beyond, elevate the search for life outside our planet, and decrease the risk of Earth being hit by an asteroid. We do all of this through advocacy, education outreach, scientific innovation, and global collaboration.
