This is the first app I tried that works right away, out of the box, without having to install any plugin, extension, or having to switch input in the Sound Menu. Launch it, click on the red button and it'll record whichever sound is playing on your computer.

I would have given it 5 stars as it does all that I wanted. But after the Oct 3, 2023 update to Sonoma 14(23A344), it gets one star. It will record the audio but will not save and will lock up so have to use force quit to get out of app. I'm hoping a fix is in the works.Update:Wow, quick fix. I was constantly looking for an app to record system audio on my mac for a long time. I wasn't satisfied with any free app. This is the only app that does it claims to. It will record your system audio without any fuss. You are not going to regret buying this. A big thank you for this.

This app was really easy to use and worked well. I do have a request. An update to allow the user set an automatic start and stop times so I could set it to record a radio program without be present to press the record button.
