Study and grade your flashcards without staring at or touching your phone. Cram for a test while you drive to class. CarPlay support lets you grade your answers with your steering wheel controls. BrainJamz converts the text of your cards into audio flashcards with natural sounding voices. It then layers the voices over a bed of non-stop music – keeping your review sessions engaging and fun.
What can you study?
• Language Learning: Spanish (Mexico or Spain), French, German, Japanese, Korean, Dutch, Hindi, Italian
• Question and Answer Cards: Create custom cards for pre-med, nursing school, psychology, or any other subject that you would use traditional flashcards for.
• Spelling: Learn how to spell words in your known language. Play cards for your kids on the drive to school and have them ace their spelling exams.
• Vocabulary: Learn new words in your known language. Get ready for the SATs.
Advanced Features for Language Learning:
• Advanced Translations: Specify formality and gender of speaker/listener for languages such as Spanish and get accurate translations.
• Spanish (Mexico or Spain): Specify what region you wish to study - the translations and accents will be appropriate. No need to study vosotros – unless that is what you want to study.
• Language Weaning: If you have listened to a card several times without marking it wrong, it will start playing with just the target language – weaning you away from translating in your head.
• Perfect for shadowing or passive listening
• High-frequency word lists in the community library allow you to build your vocabulary - great for improving comprehensible input skills.
Spaced Repetition System (SRS) Learning:
• New cards and recently incorrect cards play more frequently
• Cards are automatically graded correct if you don’t mark them wrong
• Need to cram for an upcoming test – select what you need to study, and your session will be limited to just that material.
