Hey there, I'm back with another update! Thoughts is now optimized for iOS 18. Here's a detailed look at what's new:
- Review Inspirations by Collection and Tag from your Library. Open any Collection or Tag and select the new Review button to view those inspirations shuffled on beautiful large cards — ideal to dive deep into a certain topic.
- Support for iOS 18's dark and tinted App Icons as well as tinted Widgets
- New iOS 18 Control Center and Lock Screen Controls, allowing you to quickly capture new Inspirations
- Enhanced sheet controls with more consistent button layout and highlight of the primary action
- Thoughts will now warn you before dismissing the Create Inspiration View if there are unsaved changes
- Bug fixes and performance improvements

What I’ve Wanted for Ages
I’ve been looking to find an app just like this for some time, so much so, that I had resorted to trying to create a far less elegant version in my note taking app with very little way of surfacing the information once it was input. The app is designed specifically to make the surfacing of the items in your collections take front and center while not getting lost in the forest of what you’ve collected. It does help you categorize by providing a useful amount of organizational tools with tags and collections. I can’t wait to see how this app refines with time.
I’d request a tip jar option, if you don’t mind.
The Perfect Quote Manager
Thoughts is a sleek and minimalist quote manager that provides all of the functionality you are looking for to organize your favorite quotes, aphorisms, proverbs, etc., as well as your own thoughts. It is simple and intuitive without the clutter of many other quote apps available. The user interface and functionality closely resemble what a quotes app created by Apple may look like, so it will fit right in on your device. Just on its first day, I have already upgraded to a Pro Lifetime subscription and the app has found its way to my iPhone’s Home Screen. Highly recommended!
Lovely tool for inspiration
I like this app a lot. And appreciate its steady improvements. It’s one of a kind. And something I use daily to add inspiration to my day.
I do wish for a few things to make it even better.
* Tags to be alphabetically sorted. Makes it easier to find.
* Be able to change the creation date of the quote or thought. Useful for when you add information into the app from other sources that you have saved from the past.
* Widget that can be assigned to a single collection or tag.
* Share quote as image with beautiful custom colors and gradients.
* App icon choices with vibrant and pleasing colors.
* Be able to choose the start up collection when you open the app.
* Colored themes for your quotes. One can dream …
* Apple Watch app to see one of your collections or tags on your wrist (with Watch complications).
