Our biggest driving update: real speed limits across Europe. • Real speed limits: your driving score now judges speeding against the legal limit of each road, including town limits, from OpenStreetMap. The trip's speed chart shows the limit and paints in red where it was exceeded, on the chart and on the map, with the time spent over it. Where a road has no known limit, an estimate is shown and never scored. • A fairer score: speeding is weighed by how dangerous the road is and how long it lasted, not by a single peak. A red score now always means a dangerous trip. The Family Owner chooses how strictly speeding counts for each member: strict, medium or lenient. • Boats, ferries and trains are recognised automatically and never scored as driving. • Young drivers (Premium, optional): parents can get an alert after a dangerous drive, with a button that opens the trip. • Correct a trip: the Family Owner can fix a trip's mode or mark it as a passenger ride. "I wasn't driving": an adult marks it alone; a young driver sends a request the Owner accepts or rejects. Notifications open the trip directly. • Passengers: children, teens and seniors ride as passengers. No score, but the trip's speeding and events stay visible; a red seat marks a dangerous ride. • Also: long drives are no longer split by a false stop, the Trips list keeps its place after you edit a trip, and trip cards show only what matters. Thank you for keeping your family connected with TheFamilyTracker.

A reliability update: place alerts for everyone, a clearer map and iOS 27. • Place alerts for every member: people who joined the family after your places were created now trigger arrival and departure alerts too. • Battery: a reading older than 6 hours is shown muted, with the day it was taken, so an old value never looks current. • Updates: if a family phone falls more than a week behind, the app says so and shows how to turn on automatic updates. • Map: members in the same place show as one pin with a +N badge - tap it to switch between them. • Ready for iOS 27 and the newest iPhones. • More reliable background tracking. • Fixed: saving a new place before the screen had finished loading. Thank you for keeping your family connected with TheFamilyTracker.

A reliability update. • Location engine updated: the app now runs on a newer version of the tracking engine underneath it. Background tracking is steadier, and the app is far less likely to stop reporting a position while it runs in the background. • Fixed: in the place editor, tapping Save before the screen had finished loading could close the app. Save now stays unavailable until the place is ready, and a place still saves even when the family list is slow to arrive. Thank you for keeping your family connected with TheFamilyTracker.

A big update for seniors, sharing and Zoe. • Seniors: a dedicated screen with a big "I'm OK" button, one-tap requests (come get me, call me, walk with me) and replies right on the card. Inactivity alerts count daytime only and land in the family feed with the position, Navigate and Call. • Share your live position by link: send a time-limited link to someone outside the family - the other parent at pick-up, a friend. Works for you or for a child you care for; stop it anytime; the family sees it in the feed. Premium. • Zoe remembers: conversations stay on your phone for 7 days, split by day. One language per conversation - Zoe asks once if you write in another. She now knows street addresses, where everyone is right now, where someone spent the night, and the same weekly figures as the Insights screen. • Trips: walks, drives and stops are segmented more accurately. • Fixed: your own pin was missing on the globe; Premium bought during setup was not recognised until setup ended. Thank you for keeping your family connected with TheFamilyTracker.

Small update, steadier setup. • Fixed two rare freezes on the setup screen when leaving it quickly or when the connection dropped mid-setup. • Once your family has been running smoothly for a few weeks, the app may ask - at a calm moment - whether you'd rate it. Just the standard App Store request; a tap on "Not Now" and it's gone. Thank you for keeping your family connected with TheFamilyTracker.

Inviting family is now one tap. Share an invite link from Invite phone and the other phone installs the app and joins from it, or point its camera at the QR code. Your family invites another family straight from the Premium screen. Also in this update: • Joining with a pasted code now works with the keyboard's Done key. • A clear message and an Open Settings button when the camera was denied. • Fixed a crash when saving a place before its location had loaded.

Family notes are here — free on every plan. • Eight one-tap notes — "Thinking of you", "All good", "Running late", "Honk!" — to one person or to everyone. No typing, no chat. • Reply with a tap; every note lands with its own animation. • Kids and toddlers get their own notes, on their own screens. Also: flights draw as a real arc over the globe, guardians can read the roster and manage Places, steadier map framing, and a launch crash fixed on Honor phones.
