Normal match PVE games are cut and fill this adds a new experience by incorporating a refreshing base build environment. Too much buy this buy that thrown at your face so marketing is aggressive and has taken context out of a game I’m sure someone created to experience pure bliss. Nothing is free but it’s strangely unreasonable l tend to leave games like these but depending on how events go I can stay. I will say this though I’ve continued to play specific games for years and games like these where other come out with better intentions last much longer. I feel like someone has offered a return to manage marketing but they are not the one that needs to do it sense I know this game is going down a path where it will be forgotten. Where as games that start trends not follow tend to stay around for the rest to follow. Please take with a grain of salt this review was asked.

There is a lot to love about this game but read the fine print. It is not a casual game. You must be a dedicated, daily player and coordinate with others to survive. Even more fun if you spend hundreds or even thousands of dollars like some do to be strongest. There is a lot going on in one game - maybe too much. If you spend money, be warned that another player can come and take or destroy what you bought. The puzzles, heroes and graphics are great. There are different buildings and abilities to upgrade. You also fight monsters and gather resources in the open world. You can even challenge other players in arena battles. There are always events going daily, weekly or longer. You need to join an alliance with other players. You can attack and be attacked by other players. There are also cross-server event where those players can come attack each other. There are a lot of players financially and emotionally invested in the game which leads to a lot of conflict and drama. You can pay to transfer to an older server where they have agreed to not attack other alliances, but you cannot even escape there. The other servers can come in during those events and crush you. It was super fun at first. Then it became something to worry about. Did I remember to put up a shield? My teammates will be impacted if I get wiped out. The event starts at 2 am. Should I set an alarm like some people do to get up and defend the hall? I have met some really fun people in the game, but it is too high-maintenance for me. Again, not a casual puzzle game. A war game.

This is a war game. It’s a bait & switch. The puzzle & strategy elements are quickly replaced with whales & P2W mechanics. It becomes a race to level up your city & troops as quickly as possible. And to do that will cost a small fortune in money & time. The graphic’s, initial gameplay and story aren’t bad or I’d give it no stars. But I’m tired of being misled. This is a war game disguised as a puzzle game. Like most war games these days, it baits you into playing while disguised as something else, gets you invested in the game & then SURPRISE! It’s a war game. Now you get to decide… do I invest hundreds of dollars a month to be a whale & not get bullied (in the game & in chat) , invest < $100 a week to be a guppy, but also invest 12+ hours a day into playing the game to try and keep up with the whales (kind of…you’ll still get bullied by them), or try to go F2P or minnow (<$100 a month) and end up being farm fodder for the whales & guppies, get bullied in the game and in chat & eventually rage quit. Look, there’s a reason they have to disguise these games as something else & the servers die and have to be merged so quickly. Very few people actually like war games. Yes, some people will dump a bunch of revenge money into the game when they are attacked. Yes, the top 1% will spend hundreds or even thousands per month. Yes, the heat of battle will give you an adrenaline rush, but it’s not worth the stress, time investment & anger and most eventually rage quit. But if you’re into war games, this one isn’t too bad.

I downloaded this game to play because I loved other similar type games. I have played in the past. I beat them usually in a week, without time restrictions build this first, then second build this, wait 24 hours cool down. In the event with the portal about a week ago, but I hated about that was trying to defend myself from a demons a monsters attacking, and I had my own alliance attacking me, but then when I would retaliate they would report to our leader that I stole the resources so I got banned and get out of my own alliance that I have create. Then send a message out for all alliance members to attack me so I can never build my resources back up and by stealing all my resources I couldn't buy alliance teleport control to teleport to my new alliance. The worst part was I have five children we were special needs, and I would let them as reward play this game with me with supervision, but then when my line started attacking and acting like children. I literally had to contact Customer Service to delete my profile at your being harassed in this game. I was on server 123 the alliance abbreviation win WIN for winter.
