Actually fun and rewarding (real rewards!) to use

TYB has been making a lot of changes over the time I’ve been using the app, and while some changes have been a little bit disappointing other changes have made the app more polished and a lot of great new features that make the experience still a great one for me. You really get to engage with brands, find new ones, earn REAL money rewards for your engagement all while getting to see more from the brands you want and engage in actual feedback and exclusive drops and whatnot. Really love this style of brand engagement andd TYB is a really great app for what it does for both the brands and the community! Plus just actually getting to use the points or “coins” that add up so fast and leave reviews and see others reviews and honestly so much more stuff that makes it an all around fun way to engage and feel rewarding to interact with the community and the brands that draw them together on this cool app :)The UI is nice and they’ve updated a lot of great stuff to make it easier to navigate and it’s really quite polished and feels nice to use.

A Number of Very Frustrating App Updates

In the past several months, the usability of the app has become increasingly poor and frustrating. The most recent update has completely broken notifications, spamming me constantly with "X user commented on a challenge you're in" and thoroughly burying any notifications I actually want to see like new posts from brands. Mind, these aren't comments involving me in any way. These aren't people I follow, these are notifications for challenges I haven't interacted with at all. Also, months ago they removed the ability to filter the home page, changed location of the brand chats, and made a number of layout changes that are more frustrating than they are beneficial. The inability to filter your home feed to show most recent posts causes many brand posts to get buried and go completely missed, and the spam of brand-shared "Obsessions" from users no longer being filterable is also impossibly frustrating. I can't imagine it's very reassuring for brands either to know their content is getting buried under an influx of Obsessions getting shared from weeks ago and a poorly tuned algorithm. This is a real shame, I hope the layout of the app can settle in a more user friendly place soon. But most of all, the notifications. Please fix the notifications. I don't care if someone commented on a post I also can see, this should have an opt out feature from the start and even disabling every notification doesn't remove this.

Hi there, thanks for taking the time to share this feedback. We’re sorry for the frustration these changes and notification issues have caused. We’re happy to share that feed filtering is now back, so you can filter your feed to see the content you want more easily. The notifications you were receiving about other users commenting on the same challenge were caused by a bug, which has now been fixed. If you run into any other issues in the future, you can also reach us directly at help@tyb.xyz so our team can look into them with you!

As far as connecting with brands and enjoying the benefits of being in a community of fans, this app is amazing. The trouble is with notifications not working properly recently. 1. Instead of just getting brand notifications, somehow user comments are now appearing as notifications even when you have challenge updates turned off. 2. And not all challenges get a notification either. 3. Additionally, the developers removed the function to filter your main feed. And because it is never fully chronological, and due to not all challenges having a notification, it can be very easy to miss things from your favorite brands. Instead you scroll endlessly through user highlights. 4. More and more users are using AI to complete obsessions. There needs to be a protocol to ensure images and videos are created fairly, especially now that people can receive commissions. If brands are okay with AI submissions, it should be flagged. I’ve had to turn off all notifications until those are fixed. It’s exhausting to get constant comment notifications. Please fix asap! Love TYB but this is frustrating.

Hi there! We’ve fixed the issue that was causing notifications about other users commenting on the same challenge to come through unexpectedly. We’ve also brought feed filtering back, so you can now have more control over what you see in your feed.We really appreciate you flagging these issues and sharing your feedback; if you run into any other issues, you can also reach us directly at help@tyb.xyz so our team can take a closer look.

Great App!

TYB has been such a great App for me to have. There’s been so many benefits, whether being able to follow some of my favorite brands, or find new brands that I didn’t know about and now love, since joining it’s become one of my favorite Apps and definitely most used. You get to know about product launches ahead of time, learn more about the brands and whatever they’re making, get to participate in challenges and of course get discounts on lots of different items. These can range from whatever the Brands usually sell to special merchandise or bundles specifically sold just for TYB members. One of my favorite things is not all challenges are linked to social media so if you don’t feel like going on IG or TikTok you can just go on TYB and I’ve really enjoyed that too. I’m so happy I was told about this App, I want to say a year and a half ago at least, and I can’t imagine not using it now that I have it. 🥰

Thanks for being part of TYB! We've been busy making your experience smoother than ever: • Smoother sign-up: if sign-up takes a little too long, we now get you right back on track instead of leaving you stuck. • No more surprises when picking your country: choosing it while entering your phone number no longer closes the app. • You're in control of your texts: turn text messages from your favorite brands back on anytime in Preferences. • Better for everyone: improved VoiceOver support, so more members can enjoy TYB. Update now and keep earning!
