So this whole series has been fantastic to play- it’s cleverly written, and each level is unique in its approach. However, I’ve run into an issue with the “Operation Labwork” (minor spoilers/cheats ahead): for the part where I need to set off the smoke alarm, the one in the biology lab is entirely covered with the coin shop button. I didn’t even realize it was there until I finally used hints to figure out how to proceed. I also have no way to tap it because it is covered, essentially stonewalling my progress. So if there could be a way to remove the button or move it somewhere else, then that would be great! Other than that, I’ve run into no issues with gameplay or other mechanics.Like I said, I love this game, and I would really love to be able to complete it!

Just finished the trilogy and got all the collectibles. I absolutely love the plot and gameplay. Though I will say some solutions I feel are impossible to be able to get to, resorting to using a hint. This applies to all games. Also, sometimes, mainly in the first game, the button to leave gets in my way of cleaning up afterwards.Besides that, I honestly would love more games like these. It would be nice if we went further into the past like the '20s. I would love to see what creative solutions we need. Or like have an almost prologue where we play as the previous asset, and we find the mission that they failed on.

For almost every aspect of this game, I’ll sing the developers’ praises. Gameplay, art, puzzles, storyline, all fantastic. But unfortunately, they made the decision to have all the voice lines be AI generated.If they had just chosen to not have voice lines at all, I wouldn’t have minded. If they had hired voice actors, that would’ve been fantastic, but not necessary. But this lazy, insufficient, half measure? That just irked me. It feels like the devs wanted all the benefits of voice acting without having to pay for it, and well, they got what they paid for. The AI isn’t bad, it’s doing the best it can, but an AI can’t make acting choices or convincingly fake emotion, and so every line felt dull. There were issues with emphasis and tone (e.g, getting tripped up on homographs and not being able to identify what part of a sentence needed to be a different tone) that could likely be dealt with by better programming and further developments in the field. But the creativity and effort and value of real voice acting is something that can’t be replicated yet, and even when it can in the future, it will require someone to program so many specific and varied nuances that the process will end up being the same amount of work as that of a VA.

This is by far the most challenging entry in the series, and I loved it. However, there were moments when crucial clues were difficult to find, making it frustrating to complete certain puzzles. The hints sometimes gave away the answer directly instead of guiding you on where to look, which took away some of the satisfaction. Additionally, there were instances where you needed to talk to a character and then eliminate them, but if you missed something, the game wouldn't let you restart the conversation. Instead, you'd have to replay the entire level to get the necessary information. I still enjoyed it and overall design of the game was amazing.
