청원24는 온라인 청원 웹사이트로, 국민은 청원24 앱에서 온라인으로 국가기관에 청원할 수 있고, 자신의 청원이 진행되는 과정과 그 결과를 확인할 수 있으며, 다른 사람의 공개청원을 열람하고 그에 대한 의견을 제시할 수 있습니다.
※ 청원법 제5조(청원사항)
국민은 다음 각 호의 어느 하나에 해당하는 사항에 대하여 청원기관에 청원할 수 있다.
1. 피해의 구제
2. 공무원의 위법ㆍ부당한 행위에 대한 시정이나 징계의 요구
3. 법률ㆍ명령ㆍ조례ㆍ규칙 등의 제정ㆍ개정 또는 폐지
4. 공공의 제도 또는 시설의 운영
5. 그 밖에 청원기관의 권한에 속하는 사항
