Auto Localize reads your project, translates what is missing with the AI model you choose, and writes every file back exactly the way Xcode and your build tools expect. Then it localizes your App Store page and your screenshots too. Version 7 is a brand-new app, rebuilt from the ground up for macOS. EVERY FORMAT YOU USE • Xcode String Catalogs (.xcstrings) with plurals, device variations and substitutions • XLIFF 1.2 and 2.0, Xcode .xcloc catalogs • .strings and .stringsdict, Interface Builder strings • Android strings.xml with plurals and string arrays • Flutter ARB, Java .properties, .NET .resx • JSON language files: flat, nested and browser-extension style Drop a folder and Auto Localize finds every localizable file. Files are written so your diff stays small: same order, same formatting, same comments. Every file is backed up before it is changed, and you can undo everything since you opened the project. TRANSLATION THAT UNDERSTANDS YOUR APP • Plural forms for every language, from Japanese (one form) to Arabic (six) • Placeholders like %@, %1$d, {name} and HTML tags are protected and checked • A glossary for names that must never be translated and terms with a fixed translation • A short description of your app and a tone of voice (formal or friendly) sent with every request • Translation memory: text you translated once is reused for free and never sent again • Length limits, "Needs Review" states and a side-by-side editor for every language THE AI MODEL YOU CHOOSE • Apple Intelligence: free and private, on your Mac or on Private Cloud Compute • Your own OpenAI or Google Gemini API key • Local models in LM Studio or Ollama, completely offline • Any OpenAI-compatible service There is no Auto Localize account and no server of ours: your text goes only to the service you pick, and your keys are kept in your Mac's keychain. SCREENSHOTS THAT SPEAK EVERY LANGUAGE Design your App Store screenshots once: device frames, templates, gradients and text that shrinks to fit. Captions are translated for every language, each language can use its own screenshots, and every size is exported or uploaded to App Store Connect in one go, including iPhone Duo screenshots, the product page header and search results artwork. AUTO LOCALIZE PRO AI localization, App Store Connect publishing and screenshot uploads need Auto Localize Pro, a monthly or yearly subscription. Editing translations by hand, the translation memory and everything else are free. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; you can manage or cancel it in your App Store account settings.
