ABOUT ME
I'm Renee Walden and I've put all my favourite watercolour tutorials here in Renee's Studio. You'll find lessons on a wide range of subjects (I love to paint everything!).
In my artistic journey I have explored many mediums, but watercolour painting has been a constant passion, both in my studio and in painting plein air. Watercolours give me the most pleasure during the painting process: brushing paint onto a page and watching it move and blend has not lost its fascination after all this time. In the balance of both control and letting go, there's a joy in the painting process that I think is unique to watercolours.
Teaching people how to paint in watercolours has been one of the highlights of my artistic journey. Over the years I've given hundreds of people skills, so that they can capture their memories on paper in a wonderfully visual way. Now I'm going to share that joy with you! Welcome. Let's get started!
