The Canadian Surgery Forum (CSF), occurring September 20 – 23, 2023 in Vancouver, British Columbia, is the largest surgical meeting in Canada. The 2023 conference theme is Surgical Innovation for Environmental Sustainability The CSF will bring together over 800+ delegates from across Canada – over 80% are general surgeons. The CSF partners with six major surgical societies and a variety of other societies to deliver a world class scientific program through a variety of educational formats. Tracks include general surgery, colorectal, hepato-pancreatico-biliary, hernia, trauma/acute care, surgical oncology, MIS/endoscopy, thoracic, rural/community surgery, and a track for resident/medical students. The 2023 programming includes keynote speakers, panel discussions, debates, symposia, paper and e-poster presentations, professor round tables and postgraduate courses. The CSF is pleased to be back in person with an exhibit hall and plenty of in-person networking opportunities for all – including the CSF Soiree at the Commodore Ballroom.
