Has Potential

I feel like this game has potential, but it just isn’t there yet. The game seems to have a really slow pace, especially for the beginning of the game. I’ve hit a point where I can’t progress because the material distribution is a bit whack. I find myself getting more uncommon/rare materials than common & can’t progress anymore because of it. With still being in the beginning levels it puts the player in a situation where there really isn’t much to do. It’s hard not to feel like that’s purposely put in to stall the player. If there were other ways to obtain things like sticks and pebbles it wouldn’t be so bad (like having them as bonus material you could get through farming and mining)I also recall seeing dialogue about watching ads to earn neggs, but not seeing an option to actually do so? But that could’ve also just have been me misreading or misremembering

I feel like this game has potential, but it just isn’t there yet. The game seems to have a really slow pace, especially for the beginning of the game. Not there yet* BUT. The updates are coming slowly but surely. I can easily make just about 100k nps a day by syncing up my main account. I also get exclusive in game prizes that I can use on the Neopets website. The recent update has a wheel you can spin every 3 hours where you have a chance of winning even more rare items. It’s nice. The designs are awesome as well. You can paint your pets in the app an exclusive Darcadia color which is really pretty. The one thing that’s driving me nuts is how the hats and clothing on the pets make them walk weird in game… like it’s throwing off the balance or they hold the hats in their mouths while in a walk cycle. The kougra is especially silly in this. Another thing is that specific items aren’t layerable. So there are floor tiles, but you can’t layer them under other items or tables or houses. The mechanisms are choppy… I really would love a township type of feel one day for customization. For arches and the likes, it would be fun if we could connect them to bushes, fences, or other arches to have a fun seamless look. I’m ready for my island to unlock more parts, I’m running out of room to put stuff lol. Also, I’ve only bought one thing from the game…. Maybe two. But that was for the add ons of the kacheek neopet. It’s cute. But I’m patiently waiting for more updates and to be able to enjoy those ground tiles a little more lol

This game is visually cute and has potential but so far it’s missing a lot. There’s not much “play time” to this game seeing as the only thing to do upon opening the game is break a few crates for some items and maybe collect a few fruits from the farm. There are quests to do but I can’t progress past them because I’m missing items needed and the only way to get those items is to hopefully get it in one of the crates you break. You only get 2 crates at a time and they take a while to respawn it seems. I would say I have a total “play time” of about 20 minutes since downloading this game. There are plenty of other games on the App Store that involve the same city building mechanic but have way more to offer. I hope the TNT team adds more content to this game since as of right now there’s not much to it at all. I can see this being one of the games I wind up uninstalling after a few days due to lack of playability which is a let down for sure.

This game has potential to be fun and engaging long term, but it not there yet. My biggest gripe is that it takes 4 “clicks” just to launch the game: Open the app; play now; select region (only one released); update latest data pack (every time, even when app is up to date). None of my other regularly used games are this tedious to launch and play.This game needs a bigger variety of decorating items that are accessible and craft-able. It also needs a full quest line or more playable content to be released. It’s crazy that this game has now been out for over 6 months (maybe almost a year??) and you can only unlock one area and reach level 3 in the main quests. Using existing decorations gives very limited options to creative types, and the disconnected fences are annoying to me personally. I only have one nice path type currently available to craft and two others that can be won from the once-a-day or 6-hours wheel, which is NOT a suffice to source for flooring pieces!!My other gripe is with the colors. Each pet has one color that was clearly its designed base color, and other color options appear to mostly be a reshading of that base color, which is incredibly lazy from an art perspective.
