This update adds new maintenance history tools for field inspections. What’s new: • View unit-level maintenance history directly in the app • Review asset overview details, serial plate information, work orders, invoices, and maintenance notes • Add serial plate photos from the camera or photo library • Edit serial plate make, model, and serial number details • Improved serial plate viewing and upload reliability • General performance and usability improvements

This update is designed to improve the overall inspection experience and make the app easier to use in the field. We’ve refined key unit inventory workflows, improved serial plate photo actions, and enhanced the way incomplete items are surfaced so teams can move through inspections more efficiently. This release also adds support for marking items and units as inaccessible when needed, improves offline handling and sync behavior for cached inspection activity, and provides better visibility into pending serial plate work, including both photos and omission statuses. We also added direct access to unit maintenance history from the unit view screen, along with a variety of additional usability and workflow improvements throughout the app.

Bug fixes and patches

Offline Photo Capturing & Syncing Capture Anywhere: Snap photos of serial plates even without a stable internet connection. The images store locally on your device and automatically sync when you switch back to online. Seamless Sync: A new linear progress bar shows you the exact number of photos uploading (“X of Y”), so you always know how much is left. Live Progress Indicators Linear Progress Bar: Each time you upload or sync offline images, see real-time updates on how many photos have finished and how many remain. Immediate Feedback: No more guessing whether your uploads are still running—our app now displays a clear bar from the moment the first image starts syncing. Improved Error Handling Clear Status: If an image fails to upload, it stays in a ‘pending’ state or gets labeled as ‘failed’, making it easy to retry later. Fewer Surprises: Summarized error messages let you see exactly which photos couldn’t be uploaded. Enhanced Caching & Clear Cache Dialog Targeted or Full Cache Clearing: Choose to delete all cached photos for just one unit or clear everything—your choice. Confirmation Prompt: Before wiping out data, the app requires you to type “DELETE,” preventing accidental cache clears. Intuitive UI & Navigation Updates Route-Aware Refresh: When you return to the main units list, the app automatically re-fetches changes—showing pending statuses for units that have new or unsynced photos. New Dialog Overlays: Upload progress and syncing notifications use semi-transparent dialogs. You can’t accidentally navigate away or trigger another sync until current tasks complete. Performance Boosts & Stability Image Compression: Photos are automatically compressed before upload, saving bandwidth and reducing upload times, especially on slow networks. Chunked & Single-Concurrency Options: Large or multiple photos are intelligently chunked to avoid saturating weak connections. Robust Timeouts & Retry Logic: The app retries failed uploads a certain number of times before marking them as failed, so you can catch up on unsynced photos even with spotty coverage. Other Fixes and Improvements UI Polish: Better visuals when toggling from offline to online mode. Better Debounce on Searches: Searching through your units is smoother and less likely to hang. General Bug Fixes: Squashed various crashes, slowdowns, or UI lags reported in previous versions.

Manual Entry & Image Recognition: Add assets manually or streamline the process by taking a picture of the asset's serial plate. Our new image recognition feature will automatically extract the text from the image, search our database for a match, and allow you to quickly add the identified asset to your inspection list. Enhanced Data Analysis: With the new asset tracking feature, property managers can now leverage additional Onsite Analytics features for deeper data analysis. Keep track of all assets in each unit more efficiently and utilize our tools to make informed management decisions.
