Highlights for this app: Easy user interface (I didn’t need a training manual to figure it out!). Quick connections to external accounts (not just credit cards but student and personal loans too). I’ve always hated the process of linking each account; this took maybe a minute. I like that you can get quick information from the chat feature. But my favorite part (and probably the most useful) is that I know exactly how to tackle paying down my debt, by how much and which debt. I also can see how extra payments would impact me in terms of pay-down timeline and the cost of interest). This app has made me feel more in control of my finances.
Nearly useless app

This app would be useful if it was putting the extra change into a separate reserve, like a piggy bank. But it doesn't do that. It just COUNTS the extra change, and waits until you hit $20 in invisible spare change before pulling this hypothetical "spare change" from your checking account all at once (with a fee of course)! I genuinely do not understand how this is useful at all. Not to mention, it takes like a week to process one credit card payment. AND on top of this, you can't make any payments if you don't have $100 in your checking account. So basically if you have $99 in your checking, you aren't allowed to make a $20 credit card payment. It was way faster to just make credit card payments myself. In a month, I paid off $90 using ditch, and $600 by simply logging into my bank account and paying it myself. Don't bother with this app.
Simply yet effective UI

I just started using ditch to pay off my remaining consumer debt and am so impressed with the UI! I’m 28, live in Wisconsin, and am an engineer and am working on a goal of becoming debt free before 30. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to set up payoffs and pick which multiplier I wanted to use. It’s so cool how Ditch looks at your prior spending to estimate what extra payment you’ll be making based on which multiplier you select! I also appreciate how Ditch compares my debt amount to the national average. It helps gauge where I’m at vs. where I’m supposed to be. I’ve really enjoyed Ditch so far and am excited to continue to use it in 2025.
Give it a genuine try!

I absolutely love the Ditch app. It has turned paying off my debt into something that actually feels fun, almost like a game. Using it opened my eyes to how much money I was really spending and how fast the little things add up. Now, checking Ditch has become my daily dopamine hit instead of scrolling through social media. It gave me the jumpstart I needed to finally get the ball rolling on paying down my debt, and honestly… I’m addicted in the best way. If you’re trying to get motivated, stay consistent, or just want a clearer picture of your spending, this app is a total game-changer. Highly recommend.
Bug fixes, and other UI changes.
