Swreen turns your iPad into a portable monitor. Connect a compatible UVC capture card to view the HDMI output from a game console, camera or computer, or connect a UVC camera directly for a live video preview.
Whether you want a screen for your console or a larger view of your camera's image, connect your equipment and open Swreen to get started.
Features
• Live video preview from compatible UVC capture cards and USB cameras.
• Audio playback from compatible capture devices.
• Full-screen viewing: tap the picture to hide the controls, then tap again to bring them back.
• Adjustable zoom to change the size of the preview.
• Image rotation at 0°, 90°, 180° and 270°, plus mirror flip.
• Optional display of the current input resolution and live frame rate.
How to connect
For a game console, camera or computer:
HDMI source → HDMI cable → UVC capture card → iPad
For a UVC camera:
UVC camera → iPad
Use a data-capable adapter if the connectors do not match.
Requirements
• An iPad with a USB-C port.
• iPadOS 17 or later.
• A compatible UVC capture card or UVC camera, supplied separately.
• HDMI sources require a capture card to convert video to USB input. A standard HDMI adapter or cable cannot replace a capture card.
Available resolution, frame rate and audio support depend on the capture device, connection and source.
