The compare button responds again on iOS 26.0. Your verse: the widget and the morning notification now show the same verse, chosen for you. It changes once a day; edit the widget to change how often. Pure Bible now lets you know, once, when a new version is in the App Store.

Pure Bible 2.0.0 is rebuilt from the first page. A NEW READER Chapters now flow like a printed book, in paragraphs and poetry lines. The notes of each edition sit behind a small †, with references you can follow. NEW EDITIONS The Clementine Vulgate in Latin, Glaire and Crampon in French, Raguet's New Testament in Japanese and the Azerbaijani Bibliya with the deuterocanonical books now stand beside the Douay-Rheims. Every edition is complete and works offline. - Important Design Update: The design of the application has been significantly renewed while preserving its old lines. A more minimalist look has been achieved. - Improved User Experience: The issue of the membership page appearing momentarily at the application opening has been resolved. The lag in transitions between pages has been fixed, and now not only a single book, but page scrolling can be done throughout the entire Bible. - Renewed Books List: The design of the books list menu has been updated. Now, you can access the book list by clicking on the verse name. The book list has been divided into old and new testaments, and a search bar has been added to filter the books. - Improved Navigation: The split screen button has been placed at the bottom of the screen (on the right side in landscape). In all non-sequential verse transitions, the last verse before the transition is saved and listed in the recents menu with its date. - New Alert Feature: Alert feature has been added to the Bookmark and Annotation pages. Now, if the saved bookmarks and annotations are not in the currently used “Main Bible” or “Reference Bible”, you can see this information as a warning in your list. - Updated Preferences Page: The preferences page has been updated, deactivated features have been removed, Contact Us and social media links have been added. - General Improvements and Fixes: Various adjustments and bug fixes have been made in the application. These changes aim to improve the overall performance and user experience of the application.
