Game Shelf 3.8 makes it easy to bring your history from BG Stats and record the expansions used at the table. • Import plays from a BG Stats JSON export, with a clear preview of what will and will not be added. BG Stats import is available to everyone. • Re-import safely: new plays are added, existing imports receive newly supported BG Stats details, and edits made in Game Shelf are preserved. • Select the expansions used in a play and see those plays reflected in game pages, filters, challenges and statistics. • Optionally add games marked as owned in BG Stats when they are missing from your collection.

Barcode scanning is now faster and more reliable. • Scan multiple board games in one session and review every result before adding them. • Unknown barcodes, duplicate games, temporary lookup failures, and barcodes with multiple matches are handled individually without interrupting the remaining scans. • Valid scanned games are safely added together without replacing your existing collection. • Fixed a crash caused by an invalid BoardGameGeek result that could make the collection inaccessible after relaunching the app.

Game Shelf now works with Siri, Shortcuts, and Spotlight! • Ask Siri to log a play, open a game, or help decide what to play. • Helpful follow-up questions let you choose a game or enter your player count and available time. - Massively improved search - Possibility to change the title of the games

- You can now share your plays with friends, making it easier for others to track games they’ve played with you. - If you don’t want to use the Board Games tab (where trending board games are shown), you now have the option to hide it. - Added search to your plays, so you can easily find specific games by title or by who you played them with. - You can now view the top 3 games per year, month, and week for previous periods. - You can now rename a player via Settings.

- There were still some issues with adding new games to your collections, where the app would sometimes only show a loading spinner. I’ve added a fallback: if loading one game fails, the app will retry it later while still loading the other games. - You already had swipe actions for your collection, wishlist, and board games, but not when using the grid/image view. I’ve added a long-press action so you can now more easily add a play or add a board game to your collection or wishlist. - When using the randomizer to select a game, you will now only be presented with games from your own collection. That was an awkward bug… - Moving a game from your wishlist to your collection should now work smoothly (removing it from your wishlist and adding it to your collection). Thanks for all the feedback I’ve received over the past few weeks. I’ll keep working hard to improve the app even further.

Made some changes so that the Collection view, where there was a bug that some games only showed a spinner. Improved the Statistics for a faster and better view.
