What travellers are saying:
"My photo library is my journal and this app is a fantastic way to relive them and the trips I've taken. A rare privacy prioritising app that delivers a first class native experience." - Jad6os, App Store Review
"I am a professional photographer who travels quite a bit... my Sony camera photos are geotagged so they show up on this app when I upload them to my Photos library. So its the best of both worlds!" - seandavis, App Store Review

I see a ton of potential in this app, it’s really well designed and feels right at home on iOS.However the onboarding flow could use a little bit of refinement, which is likely what caused the current 1 star reviews:The paywall is displayed before I’ve ever had a chance to look at the app. It’s too early for me to decide if I’m going to pay, I don’t even know what I’m paying for yet! Yes, the monthly subscription does feature a 7 day free trial which would allow me to try it out and then cancel - But that comes with a burden on me to remember to cancel.I would recommend the developer explore ways to allow a brief exploration of the app, for example showing me the app UI, but with dummy data, before then prompting me to choose if I’m going to pay for it.

This is absolutely incredible! I can now access all my memories, photos, and everything else I’ve ever saved.

Really glad Globetrotter is working so well for you, and thank you for taking the time to leave a review — that means a lot.
Kinda boring

Not much here interesting. Also tried to invite friends in the friends section and it doesn’t even work
Developer Response
Thanks for the specific feedback on both points — the friends feature is being looked into. I'd love to know what kind of content you were hoping to find; feel free to drop a note at support@pixelfolio.app.
Cool App; Disappointing Onboarding
ClassyRaptor
I found the onboarding experience to be incredibly frustrating and borderline deceptive (even though I am giving the developer the benefit of the doubt that it wasn’t their intention). What I would have appreciated is if the payment screen included a fourth option that was clearly labeled as a free trial instead of grouping the free trial with selecting a monthly or yearly subscription. I went down the yearly route and immediately cancelled the subscription and deleted the app and still managed to get charged. The app overall looks good and it’s very close to being perfect for me, but I feel like the app could benefit from addition UX review. The app isn’t difficult to understand or navigate per se, but it isn’t particularly intuitive either and I felt like I was always tapping on random UI elements to eventually get where I wanted to go in the interface.
Developer Response
Hi there, Thank you for the constructive feedback. These have all been addressed with the latest set of updates, and the app has been improved upon to a tremendous extent. The paywall has been rethought and pricing has been adjusted. More parts of the app are now usable without a paywall being presented too. Thanks, Shihab
Swipe through your travels.
• Swipe through your photos: open one in the Album and swipe to see the rest.
• Catch up on past updates: What's New shows everything since your last visit, and every release is in Settings.
• Smoother routes: tapping a route photo glides the map to it, and one button switches between the whole route and that photo.
• Top 3 Fastest Photos and Photos by Altitude are now accurate, with heights in metres or feet to match your region.
• 28 countries now fill your scratch map in a colour from their flag, and shared maps suit Dark Mode.
• Fixes for photo counts, scratch map widgets, subscription status, the Album date picker and Memories.
