Das Rabin-Gymnasium in Kfar-Saba/Israel und das Karl-Theodor-v.-Dalberg-Gymnasium in Aschaffenburg arbeiten seit 2014 jährlich für ein gemeinsames Ziel: Menschen die Geschichten der Opfer des Holocausts näher bringen.
Um Opfer des Holocaust zu gedenken, werden für alle jüdischen Bürger Aschaffenburgs, die im Holocaust ermordet wurden, Biographien erstellt, welche auf dieser App abrufbar sind.
Durch Archivarbeit sammeln die deutschen Schüler Informationen über die Person hinter sogenannten Stolpersteinen, welche in Aschaffenburg verlegt sind.
Die Biographien werden anschließend von israelischen Schülern ins Hebräische übersetzt.
Die Texte sind auf Deutsch, Englisch und Hebräisch verfügbar.
פרויקט אבני נגף - האנשים שמאחורי האבנים ,מטרת אפליקציה זו- לספר את סיפורם של נספי השואה שחיו בעיר אשפנבורג שבגרמניה פרויקט משותף של תלמידי ביה״ס התיכון קרל תיאודור פון דלברג מאשפנבורג ותיכון רבין בכפר סבא תחילתו של הפרויקט בשנת 2014 התלמידים בגרמניה כותבים את סיפור חייהם של למעלה ממאה ניספי שואה שלזכרונם הונחו בעיר אבני נגף. בעבודת מחקר בארכיון העיר אשפנבורג, בארכיון וורצבורג, בארכיון השואה הגרמני בקובלנץ ועוד, אוספים התלמידים את החומר הדרוש המידע נשלח לארץ ותלמידי כפר סבא, בעזרת מתרגמים דוברי גרמנית, מתרגמים אותו לעברית ומעשירים אותו ע״י איסוף נתונים ביד ושם ומוזיאון טרזין בעיר אשפנבורג מציגה האפליקציה, תוך שימוש ב- GPS, את הסיפור שמאחורי אבן הנגף שלידה עומדים - בעברית, גרמנית ואנגלית
Since 2014 Yitzak Rabbin Highschool in Israel and Karl-Theodor-v.-Dalberg-Gymnasium in Germany have been working together for a common goal: To convey the personal histories of Holocaust victims to the public. In order to commemorate the victims of the Holocaust, the students research and write the biographies of Jewish citizens of Aschaffenburg, who were murdered in the Holocaust. Those biographies can be viewed with this app. By working in archives the German students collect information about the “persons behind the stumbling blocks“ that are installed in Aschaffenburg. The biographies are then translated by Israelis students into Hebrew. The texts are available in German, English and Hebrew.
