Am Hazak brings Jewish prayer, the Hebrew calendar, Shabbat times and Torah learning into one thoughtfully designed app. Find the prayers for today, check local zmanim, explore Jewish places nearby and keep your important dates and favorites organized.
• A Siddur that knows the day:
Today’s Prayers shows the prayers relevant to the day, helping you find what to say and when. Read Hebrew text with translations and choose your prayer tradition: Ashkenaz, Sefard or Edot HaMizrach.
• Prayers throughout the year:
Access daily services, blessings and Tehillim (Psalms), along with prayers for Shabbat, festivals, the High Holidays and Selichot. Keep the prayers you use regularly and those you need throughout the year within reach.
• Hebrew calendar and daily zmanim:
View Jewish dates, holidays and observances, and look ahead to what’s coming up. Check the daily times that guide prayer and observance, including sunrise, sunset and the times for Shema and Mincha.
• Shabbat times around the world:
Find candle lighting and Havdalah times for cities worldwide, for any week of the year. Save cities for home, family or travel, and follow a candle lighting countdown directly on your Lock Screen.
• Kosher restaurants and Jewish places nearby:
Find kosher restaurants, Chabad houses and mikvahs on an interactive map. Explore places near your current location or look around another destination before you travel.
• Daily and weekly learning:
Read the weekly parsha and haftarah, follow Daf Yomi for daily Talmud study, or explore every book of Tanach, the Hebrew Bible. Access Torah, Prophets and Writings, whether you’re following a regular study schedule or choosing a passage to read.
• Personal dates in your Hebrew calendar:
Use My Dates to add yahrzeits, Hebrew birthdays and anniversaries. Keep your family’s meaningful dates alongside Jewish holidays and observances, with your personal calendar dates saved to your account.
• Bookmarks and account sync:
Save prayers and passages you want to return to. Sign in to keep your bookmarks, saved Shabbat cities, personal dates and favorite restaurants in sync across your devices.
Prayers, translations, the Hebrew calendar, zmanim, Shabbat times, Daf Yomi, Tanach, Explore and My Dates are free to use.
Am Hazak Pro is an optional subscription that adds listening, transliterations and more saved Shabbat cities and bookmarks. Listen and follow along as each word is highlighted when spoken. Transliterations let you read the Hebrew in familiar letters.
Download Am Hazak and make prayer, learning and planning part of your day.

Has all the prayers you want can show in English, Hebrew and or transliterated, can adjust font size and many more handy features. Thank you! Best if found and I’ve tried many. I have only one request: it’s hard to keep track of how far through a prayer I am sometimes with very long ones. Could you add the visual scroll indicator on the side? Thanks so much.

More than Just a Jewish Calendar
e Ward c
The calendar shows all the holidays but the app also has a lot more information. That makes this a very comprehensive calendar app. The support service is excellent. I needed some help to fix a problem and they were able to respond quickly and take care of it. I’m very pleased with the Am Hazak - Jewish Community app.

Much for travel!
TopHumof
This app is an awesome resource when traveling so I don’t have to stress myself out about when holidays start. I love that I can donate to organizations that are aiding Isreal and Jewish life, too. Great asset to my life + faith. I cannot wait until events are posted so I can connect with my local Jewish community.

App Used to Crash; Now its my favorite app.

About every 7-14 seconds the app used to crash and close, I was devestated because my favorite app was slipping through my fingers. Then I contacted the developers and within a day I was able to access just about every prayer in Israel hehehe. :D
