Moving from another app? Bring all your recipes over from Paprika, Recipe Keeper, Mela, Crouton and more, in one go. Saving got easier: • Recipes from Chrome pages and Pinterest pins come in whole. • Posts you keep for later don't use your free recipes. Getting started now picks up where you left off. Also new: Reminders sync keeps your list safe, and many small fixes.

AnyRecipe has a new design, from your recipes to Cook Mode. Made for iPhone Duo: • Open it, and your recipes use the whole display. • Close it, and keep cooking on the outer display. Timers, servings and your grocery list got many small fixes, so they work the way you'd expect. Also new: a better fit on smaller iPhones like iPhone SE, and with larger text sizes.

Cooking for 12? Each meal you plan now keeps its own servings, and your grocery list follows. Your recipes are now part of your iPhone: • Find any recipe from Home Screen search, with its cooking time. • Ask Siri to add one to your grocery list or open it in Cook Mode. Tonight's dinner now arrives quietly in Notification Center, with a switch on its page if you'd rather get an alert. Also new: a smaller download, a fresh start for new cooks, and a name for every button in VoiceOver.

Your grocery list now reads the way you shop: one line per item, and packs with their size. Press and hold an item to change its pack size. Cook Mode is easier to follow: • Say "next" or "back" to move through the steps, now in French, German, Dutch and Spanish too. • Ingredients and cooking times stand out in every step. The planner names your weeks and shows what you planned before. Also new: Today's pick on a page of its own, a clear next step when a post can't be read, and British English throughout.

Your daily dinner idea now arrives at the same time every day, and gets closer to your taste each time you save or skip one. Saving recipes is easier too: • Copy a recipe link and AnyRecipe offers to save it. • If an import fails, you see what to try next. The Home Screen widget has a fresh new look. Also new: one-tap timers while you cook, quicker fractions, tips to help you get started, and clearer French, German, Dutch and Spanish throughout.

Your cooking timers now ring even when your iPhone is on silent or in Do Not Disturb. Stop or snooze them straight from the alarm. Adding recipes is easier too: • Photograph each page of a cookbook recipe and get one recipe, or paste the text and let AnyRecipe fill it in. • Scan printed recipes with the iPhone's document scanner. • If an import fails, type the recipe in without losing the link. • Posts that aren't about food are no longer saved, and the share screen tells you where a post's recipe usually hides. A recipe that's still missing something now shows exactly what's left. Also new: the shopping list asks whether to clear it or keep it for next time when you check off the last item. Photos from iCloud now work for covers and steps. You'll see fewer interruptions, and the French, German, Dutch and Spanish text is clearer throughout.

More of the recipes you find on social media now make it into your cookbook. When a creator leaves the recipe out of the caption, or asks you to comment to get it, AnyRecipe keeps the post anyway. Plan it, tag it, cook straight from the post and add the ingredients whenever you like. AnyRecipe also opens faster and fixes bugs throughout, including one that stopped some older libraries from backing up to iCloud.

One recipe a day, already on your home screen. That is what 6.3 is about. Today's pick A new widget puts one recipe on your home screen every day, chosen from what you like and timed to the meal you actually cook. Tap it to read the recipe, or leave it where it is. Nothing joins your cookbook unless you say so, and once today's pick is spent, the widget counts down to the next one. The first three are free; Pro keeps one coming every day. Say which meals you cook, not what time There is no clock to set. Tell the app which meals you cook and your recipe arrives while there is still time to cook it. The notification has its own switch in Settings, separate from the widget, so you can silence one and keep the other. Starting out is two questions now Setting the app up used to be ten questions before it had shown you anything. Now it is two, then a dish you can accept or turn down. Say yes and the recipe is found, imported and saved while you watch. Turn it down as often as you like; it keeps offering something else. Imports that used to fail Some sites answer a recipe link with a redirect to a regional address, foodnetwork.com to foodnetwork.co.uk for instance. Those imports failed every time, and retrying never helped. They work now. Fixes worth knowing about • Tapping a dish you have already saved opens it, instead of starting a new search. • A recipe you were owed is no longer lost when its delivery is missed. • One page that will not load no longer costs you the day's recipe. The app icon is new too.

Cook from any recipe, in your own numbers. That is what 6.2 is about. Read it in your units Switch any recipe between US and metric with the new scales button, or set it once in Settings for every recipe. Cups of flour become the grams a scale actually shows, and a recipe that says 350°F reads 180°C in the steps too. Your choice sticks per recipe, so grandma's cake can stay in grams forever. Scale it in one tap Halve, double or triple a recipe with the new buttons above the ingredients. Every amount recalculates from the original, so going back is always exact. Translate it A recipe in another language now translates right on your iPhone. It is free, nothing leaves your device, it works offline once the language is downloaded, and the author's original is always one tap away. Smarter imports Recipes that never say how many they serve now arrive with a realistic serving count, read from their actual quantities. Fixes worth knowing about • Editing tags or notes no longer removes the recipe's photo. • Tags on recipes in a shared household library no longer disappear after a restart. • Shopping lists now combine amounts correctly in French, German, Dutch and Spanish.

Hands-free now works wherever you cook in English Voice control was quietly limited to the US. If you cook in the UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia or anywhere else in English, cook mode now listens for "next" and "back" like it always should have. Where it genuinely can't work, the button is no longer there to tap. Shop by the pack, in your language Your shopping list can show what you actually lift off the shelf: 2 cans, 1 bag, 250 g of butter. That used to work in English only. It now works in French, German, Dutch and Spanish, and if you shop in the US you'll see US pack sizes instead of European ones. A list that reads like a cook wrote it • Scaled amounts read the way you'd say them out loud • Ingredient rows keep both halves of a dual measurement, and words like "cloves" • Tinned tomatoes go with the tins and fresh ones with the produce, in every language • Recipes in different languages no longer collapse into one confusing line Fixed • Adding a recipe could freeze while the app read your clipboard • iPad grids and full-screen pages now use the space they have • Adding a tag no longer rewrites the whole recipe • Sync speaks up when something actually fails instead of staying quiet • Meal tags and timer highlighting now work in German, Dutch and Spanish Setting up The setup step now describes what it really asks for: switching AnyRecipe on in your Share menu. You can skip the taste picker if you'd rather get straight in. Permission prompts appear in your language and say plainly what they're for.

Pages behind a cookie banner or a sign-in now import too, because we read the page you're actually looking at. Plan your week. The same ingredient from three recipes becomes one line with the amounts added up, sorted by aisle and rounded to the sizes shops actually sell. Now speaks German, Spanish, French and Dutch. Plus a new look throughout: warmer colours, clearer type, and a consistent set of icons.
