Digital Compositing
Reality ^Cat Cut uses a digital compositing workflow, node-based instead of layer-based, to lay out the progression of combining multiple scenes into a final output scene. Digital Compositing allows great flexibility, including modifying an earlier scene step while viewing the final composite.
Agile Node-Graph
The user interface is streamlined into a linear sequence of actions that can be compounded or stacked like a digital compositing node graph but with simplification to express how to achieve the desired outcome succinctly. Reality ^Cat Cut displays a digital compositing node graph as a list of instructional steps utilizing innovative concepts such as Auto Chaining, Viewer Cycling, References, and Reverse Compositing.
