Extremely good app! (But needs just a little touch-ups)

This is a beautifully done app. It has all the things that give it that iTunes/Swift native app look and it has pretty much all the features you would want from an app like this- except just 3 small things that I would LOVE to see. The first thing is small but allowing you to add another server for specifically when you’re off wifi would be very nice to see. I haven’t seen that in a lot of other apps so that would make this a really good one, especially if you made it like a “Manet+”. Secondly I would absolutely love to see the little A-Z sliders that you can use on the actual iTunes/Music app (the one on the right side of the albums page) as it makes it easier to go through your library. Finally I would just love to see someone made specially for when you rotate your phone or just support for it as that would be greatly appreciated. Overall great app though and worth its subscription for the mac version!

Great app so far!

I have only been using it for a day or so, but I like the layout and functionality so far. It doesn’t seem to pickup any of the artists from the library section, but if you search for the artist, they appear. I’m also not able to add songs to playlists. It does say it successfully added the songs, but doesn’t. I noticed that in between the end/beginning of songs, there’s occasionally a replay of the last two seconds of the previous song. At least for when only listening to downloaded songs. A few small bugs. Also, I wish I could download my full library from one button. The app does appear in car play! Excited to see what comes from this appUpdate: in latest version, the app has an issue transitioning between downloaded songs. It will freeze up for 10-30seconds.

Great, needs some CarPlay love

This app is terrific. It’s the Apple Music app (but better?) for Jellyfin users. I like the icon, the UI, and on and on. And I’m frankly amazed they’ve got CarPlay support in here at all - but if I may nitpick this is the one feature that I personally would love to see get attention. I could make the same complaint about *most* CarPlay apps, but this one is real close to being awesome. What it needs first and foremost is album sorting in the downloads section. Works wonderfully well in the app itself. On CarPlay? It’s just a list of songs. Obviously, if you have more than one album downloaded this gets real cumbersome to navigate real quick. So, I will cross my fingers that this gets a little polish sometime in 2025 and will come back to giddily give a 5 star review. Keep up the good work!

Decent app hindered by some key deficiencies

It’s a decent app with some key deficiencies that if resolved would make it significantly better than anything else.1. There’s no alphabetical index/jump list when scrolling. If you have hundreds and hundreds of artists, it’s a nightmare to scroll endlessly until you get to “S”. An extremely simple feature that should be built in.2. Crashes when deleting songs from playlists. Don’t know why it does this but it happens reliably and consistently across different devices (e.g., iPhone 13/14, Androids, whatever).3. Different users’ playlists showing in yours. Distinct users with their own logins will have merged playlists even if separated in the Jellyfin server. Didn’t do this at first, but did after a time.4. No ability to rename or delete playlists, which is a major issue imo.5. No themes. I desperately want a black/dark theme, or just design options in general.6. No ability to change font size or perspective. The good: works much more smoothly than other Jellyfin apps I’ve tried and is by far the best at accurately reading/organizing metadata without having a mess of the artists’ lists. That’s the main reason I use it; several other apps are superior from a design and ease of navigation perspective. If they fixed these issues it’d be perfect.

- The app now downloads all album and artist images to have available when offline - We now extract the primary color for albums and use it to decorate the album view - Marking items for download is now faster - Added a connectivity label in Account - A sync failing for one type still attempts the other ones before failing - Fix quick connect not working on Jellyfin 12 - New playlist and album views on iPadOS - We now sync and show the overview text for albums (iOS) - Fix sorting tracks by release year - Fix sorting tracks in large playlists - Improvement to background refreshes so you won't have to manually sync as much
