After installing the extension and completing the setup, head to your favorite streaming service and click on the Teleparty Icon in the browser bar to start a party. Simply share your party link with your friends and you can all watch in sync and chat using Teleparty.

Great, in theory

Teleparty has been a real asset in staying in touch and watching shows with people long-distance since I started using it a long time ago. But I have to say, it has been the most glitchy program I have ever (begrudgingly) used. There is a period of about thirty minutes that my partner and I have to spend troubleshooting *every *single *time we want to use it because there are constant issues with the interface. It is very frustrating, especially since I’m paying for the “premium” version. Unfortunately, for now, this is the only watch-party-esque program out there that I know of, so (again, begrudgingly) I’ll stick with it.

Me and my girlfriend are long distance so doing dates consistently is hard, but Teleparty has helped us so much!! It’s made having dates so much easier and it works so well. I love the chat feature as well. It’s honestly the most thought out and well designed extension I’ve ever had. It’s literally my favorite thing ever! I use it every week. I’m so thankful that Teleparty exists!
