Ghillie is a carp fishing logbook that lives on your phone. Record where you fished, what came out and what it came out on, so next time you can do it again.
It's built by one developer who fishes, for anglers whose phone is full of catch photos and swim and spot notes.
BRING IN YOUR OLD CATCH PHOTOS
Choose years of catch photos in one go and Ghillie sorts them into trips and fish by the date they were taken. Sort them your way before import: pick the water, add weights and species, and each trip becomes a session full of catches. Offline only – your photos never leave your phone.
MARK YOUR SPOTS ON THE PHOTO
Photograph your swim, then place your cast position, rig position and horizon marker straight onto it. The markers stay editable, so you can move them and update them next season. Note the distance in wraps, the depth and what's on the bottom.
FISHERY, SWIM, SPOT, CATCH
Organised the way you actually fish. Each fishery keeps its swims, your catch count and best fish, the gate code and bailiff's number, rules, stock notes, directions and reference photos such as depth charts. Keep dated notes on any water, swim or spot, and star the ones you fish most so they sit on your Home screen.
LOG EVERY FISH
Weight, species, photos, rig, hookbait, area bait and exactly which spot it came from. Tacklebox quick-picks put your usual rigs and baits two taps away. Units start out right for your region and can be switched: lb and oz or kg, yards or metres, and feet or metres for depth.
CONDITIONS SAVED FOR YOU
Weather, air pressure and its trend, wind and moon phase are stamped on every catch automatically. Weather warnings for your water show up before you set off.
SESSIONS AND ACTIVE RODS
Start a session when you arrive and log fish as they come. Pin each rod to its swim and spot, with the rig and bait that's on it, then tap a rod for what you need to recast: your marked photo, the distance, depth and bait. Log a catch, pick the rod, and the rest fills in.
WHAT CAUGHT, WHAT BLANKED
End of session summary: how each rod's spot did, which baits and rigs caught, bite times and conditions. Every swim and spot builds a record of trips, catches and blanks, without you having to think about it.
SEE WHAT'S WORKING
Insights pulls your top spots, hookbaits and rigs out of your own logbook, season by season. Bite times by season show when your fish have come, from spring to winter and morning to night, for your whole logbook and for each water, swim and spot.
WORKS WITH NO SIGNAL
Carp fishing happens where the signal doesn't. Everything you log is saved on the phone, with no connection needed.

Pick years of photos at once and Ghillie sorts them by date: shots minutes apart become one fish, and fish on the same or following days one trip. Fix any grouping, choose the fishery, add the weight and species, and each trip becomes a session of catches. Nothing is uploaded.
