Slate AI is a video teleprompter for iPhone. It writes your script with AI, scrolls it while you record, and can float on top of any other camera app — so you always look straight into the lens and never memorize a word.
WHAT SLATE AI DOES
Slate AI covers the whole process of making a talking-head video on your phone: write the script, set it up for comfortable reading, and record it.
— AI script writing — describe your topic in a sentence and get a ready-to-read script. No blank page, no draft in another app.
— Built-in recording — the script scrolls over the live camera view. Front or back camera, portrait or landscape.
— Floating Mode — keep the teleprompter in a floating window on top of Instagram, TikTok, CapCut, Zoom or the native Camera app, and record wherever you normally record.
— Auto-pause on silence — the text stops when you stop talking and resumes when you speak again. No more racing the scroll or restarting a take.
— Manual scroll while recording — swipe to slow down, speed up, or jump back a line mid-take.
