Most editors demo beautifully on two hundred lines and fall over on a real log. Note My is designed the other way around. Multi-megabyte files open without drama, typing stays instant at millions of characters, and memory comes back the moment you close a tab.
A serious code editor.
Fifteen languages, coloured beautifully - Swift, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Rust, Go, and more. Paste code into an empty document and Note My recognises the language and offers to set it, once, in the corner, without interrupting. Completions drawn from the language and your own document. Code folding. Every occurrence of a selected word, highlighted with a live count.
The safety net.
Crash, force-quit, power cut - Note My assumes the worst and makes it boring. Unsaved work is continuously autosaved, in a private format that doesn't leave your drafts legible on a shared Mac. Relaunch, and your tabs return exactly as they were. Keep backups of every save, snapshot open documents on a schedule, and if a file changes behind your back, you decide: reload it, or keep your version.
Watch files live.
Follow Tail pins the editor to the end of a growing log. Severity levels get their own colours, status codes go green to red, timestamps step back. Scroll up to read; scroll down and it resumes.
Compare, beautifully.
Pair tabs on a canvas, run comparisons together, and walk change by change with both sides scrolling in lock-step.
Clean text you can trust.
Invisible characters, stray marks, smart quotes where straight ones belong - found, shown, and removed. Paste from an AI chat and strip the hidden watermark characters in one command. The cleaner knows code from prose, and never touches what it can't classify.

Record edits once, replay them a hundred times with Macros. Forty templates with smart tokens that fill themselves in. Find & Replace with regex, in a document or across a folder.
