MINIMUM SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
• RAM: 8GB ( 16GB recommended )
• macOS: 12 ( mac OS 14 - Sonoma recommended )
• Free Space: 16GB
• Graphics: Apple Silicon GPU with 8 GB ( 16GB recommended ) or on Intel based computers a NVIDIA/AMD graphics card with at least 8 GB. We do not recommend to use Aerofly with older Intel based integrated graphics cards.
• Recommended input device: Dedicated USB/Bluetooth gamepad, USB joystick or USB compatible R/C controller
IMPORTANT NOTES - FLYING THE R/C MODELS
• To fly the models a game controller, joystick or dedicated R/C controller is required
• For the best experience, we strongly recommend to use a joystick or dedicated R/C controller with 4 axes
NOTE
• Many of the models (especially helicopters) cannot be controlled reasonably with a joystick that has less than 4 axes. Visit our official website for a list of supported input devices or optional hardware to connect your own transmitter.

Installation OK, Heli physics poor.
Esxmarkc
I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to easily install and run on MacOS with Apple Silicon. Used an old InterLink DX controller no problem. A bit of a dance on setting up channels and switches but all running fine in the end. My major beef as a 3D heli pilot is that the physics are extremely poor. Not a single one of the included Heli models behaves even close to its real life counterparts. Operation is fine for teaching basic maneuvers/orientation skills but is pretty miserable at any moving pirouetting maneuvers. Even very poor at tail down funnels. Hoping for someone there to retune it all properly.
No trim in software
Allison vonBuelow
Beware… one of the most basic functions (trim) is not an option in this program and is only aval with a real transmitter … not on a pc / game controller, and you CANOT use just any transmitter with a Macbook without the $59 USB-Interface from guess where… Ikarus in Germany who are the makers of rc10… to bad because everything else about the program is fantastic. All Ikarus needs to do is put trims in the menu and permit the ability to map “trims” to a button or a key on the pc.. and allow more then one controller or the keyboard to work with the program at the same time of course… or at least warn about this before taking $90 from people. You need on the fly pitch trims to fly slope and gliders properly. Powered Planes to for that matter. The super advanced flight sim x plane 12 costs less then this and you have complete freedom to map anything to as many anythings as you want.
Wished I could return it

I’d give it a ZERO if I could. I wanted a flight simulator easy to install and use. I have a Spektrum DX6e transmitter and the WS2000 USB wifi connector. Tried to bind the transmitter to the computer and it will not work. Contacted customer service of Aerofly RC10. Was told I have to buy a different connector and from Spektrum a receiver to make it work. I wished I could get my money back from Apple for this app. I will not be using it. It is junk

Never flown RC before. Purchased above transmitter and downloaded Aerofly RC 10 from App Store. Connected with USB-C cable, found the setting in the TX for USB-C, and started flying (crashing) immediately. Which is the whole point. The low reviews made me wonder if somehow it didn’t work, but it works just fine.
