Make it like the olympics app

This should be made similarly to the Olympics app. Yes, I’m rooting for the USA team, but I also want to watch other countries. You can only favorite one team and you’ll only get updates about that one team. Even if I favorite a game to watch, I still don’t get notifications. Otherwise, decent app for following games and keeping up with the bracket system. Will downloaded again in 4 years.

Helpful navigation at the games but it DESTROYS your phone battery

I downloaded this app yesterday for the World Cup game in Miami, I used the app for navigation and then closed my phone. I then picked up my phone before the game to see my battery at 15% and opened it and saw that this app ate 60% of my phone battery that day because it was constantly running in the back ground. I could not take pictures with my family during the game because of this. I am heavily disappointed with how this happened, I did not even have the app open when I shut my phone down. The exact same thing happened the day after. It has left me to wanting to delete the app after the game.

Not ready for prime time

It’s not as though the app developer, and FIFA, didn’t know about the tournament date for literally years. The app functions like it’s been rushed through development. I’ve had to update the app twice in the past two days. For an app that only needs to be used for three weeks. It’s inexcusable. I’m assuming FIFA went on the cheap to have this built. The UX is clunky, not intuitive, and is slow to load (at least on my device.)It’s sad that I have to give up on it and go to various websites to get the latest scores and bracket updates instead in using the official app. Shame on FIFA for this. A shambles.
