It does not always pick up all of the words however it picks up enough that you can figure out what was said for some of the words that were missed or misinterpreted. As for everything being in Chinese on the app, you have to change it to your preferred language. I had my phone translate the terms of use and everything into English before I agreed to continue. Also, I like many other people thought that it would translate into my ear however, it does not. You have to download the app and it is put all on the phone screen. I guess that is the biggest disappointment.

I have been looking for a true simultaneous system. And I found it with AiCool. Many other systems I tried had false advertising. They claim simultaneous interpretation/ translation but each player has to press a button, record the conversation, then wait for the interpretation. With Ai Cool, this is a true simultaneous translation/interpretation. I’m sitting with my uncle who speaks only Spanish and I only English. My wife speaks both. She is in the kitchen fixing breakfast and we are at the table. You have to have the app on and set to simultaneous translation. My phone is on the table and the app is picking up our conversation and hearing my wife from the kitchen, and translating everything. My uncle has one earbud and I have the other, it works beautifully. We have Spanish music in the background and the app ignores the music. Although as a test, I placed my phone next to a tv speaker and was able to hear the interpretation of the Spanish show. (The show didn’t have CC3.)Only downsides if you can call them downsides, is the app has a 5-10 second delay. When there are multiple people in the conversation, the app translates with one voice, so you have to learn to listen for the break in each person’s conversation. But the faster you talk the better the translation. I also like how the translation shows up on the screen. This is a very cool system.

It let me connect to my Government Phone as well as my old iPhone that is off and only works on Wi-Fi. But the phone that I use on the day-to-day basis, it’s not letting me connect to it. I just received my AI translation earbuds yesterday and they work and I have nothing so far to complain about as far as the earbuds. However, every time when I try to connect it to the same phone I use to make calls. It won’t let me do it no matter how much I’ve tried to send a verification codes to my email. But it’ll let me do it if it’s my Government Phone or my old phone and it’s not even on. It’s very frustrating and I’m disappointed about that.

So I purchased these last year 2025 downloaded the app followed all the prompts even had the language scripted to me in English and still to this very day March 28, 2026 my phone earpiece whatever they’re called only allow me to be able to talk through them. If I touch them they cut off an end my conversations, they do not translate anything nor does the app precisely give you the steps on how to connect and to make it worse the steps that I was provided in my packaging does not work and because I’ve had them for past 30 days before I even opened them I wasn’t even able to get a refund so no, the compatibility at all, now the size and fitting of them is perfect but anything else is a one out of five for me not a good investment at all.
