UnimeType is an AI keyboard for writing in multiple languages without switching language keyboards. Keep the same English QWERTY layout, mix Latin-letter input with English, then tap Convert.
Write Chinese with pinyin, Japanese with romaji, Hindi with English letters, or Arabic with Arabizi. Convert turns matching input into the selected languages’ scripts while preserving recognized English. You can mix the conversion languages you have enabled in the same message.
Latin letters → your script: Chinese, Japanese, Hindi, Arabic, Russian, Greek
Restore tones and accents: Vietnamese, French, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Italian
English stays English. Chinese conversion outputs Simplified Chinese.
Choose up to three conversion languages in the app. Enable UnimeType in your device’s keyboard settings. AI actions need an internet connection. Check results before sending.
Polish — A clearer message for the person you’re writing to.
Explain — Select an unfamiliar phrase and tap Explain.
Everyday typing: No AI request
When: After consent, tap Convert, Polish or Explain.
What: The text being processed. Convert may include up to 100 preceding characters from the current and previous line.
Who: Managed mode: via UnimeType to an AI provider. Custom mode: directly to your configured API.
You can withdraw AI consent in Settings.
iOS Full Access enables network AI actions. Ordinary typing still works without it.
Accounts and purchases
Sign in to use UnimeType credits, or connect your own compatible AI API. Optional monthly subscriptions renew until cancelled in App Store; one-time credit packs do not renew. Prices and billing periods are shown before purchase. Usage depends on text length and the selected model. Manage subscriptions in your store account. Your custom API provider may charge separately.
