Addictive and Made With Love

I’ve only had the game for two days now and I’m not very good at it, but once I adjusted the button placement to fit where I naturally place my thumbs I can honestly say every bad move and jump has been caused entirely by my own overconfidence. I love how quickly you can jump right back in after dying, and the quick, retro beat of the music only encourages you more. God I love the music so much, if you normally play games without sound do yourself a favor and turn it on just to hear how amazing that beat is. I was so excited when I realized the ‘eyeball’ saws would lock onto you and follow your movements if you got too close- it’s little details like that which really show you how much thought was put into this game. I’m really happy this game came to Apple Arcade, it deserves a lot of love and attention and is definitely worth checking out.

A good game with amazing potential!

So, as of now, this game came out yesterday- I just wanna put that out there. It is so far really amazing, and I love the nostalgic arcade feel it has. Now, I could go on and on about how good it is, but I have a few complaints that might be worth addressing. First off, the gacha system: the first saw-blade skin you buy is 20 credits. Alright.. a bit much but fine. The 2nd is 30… now, especially because you need to jump and collect the point from 10 saw blades to get 1 ticket, this feels like too much. I think there should either be a more gradual increase, or a flat rate. Second, controls. Now i know that the controls are meant to be more retro arcade feeling.. and they work fine, but the directional buttons are a bit glitchy. They kind of just- stop working sometimes. While holding down to go to the side, they sometimes just stop moving while mid jump, without me letting go of the button. Now, I say all of this with full consideration that this literally came out yesterday, and is going to have bugs, however, I hope the devs will address these issues, and hopefully fix them in game.

Thank you so much for the detailed feedback! ❤️ You're right, I will be gradually adjusting the number of tickets needed to unlock sawblades - I've been trying to find the right balance so players don't unlock everything too quickly and yet don't have to grind as well. Quick question about the controls, does your phone support 3D touch? If so, turning off 3D touch may help - it's been known to interfere with input on the left edge of the screen. Additionally, you can also tweak button sizes and positions in Settings > Controls > Pos/Size if you need more customization :) In a future update, I'll also be looking into implementing haptics for textile feedback. Thanks again! :D

One warning though, after playing for like 25 minutes I start to get slightly nauseous and have to take a break, but it might be other causes. If your highly sensitive to nausea, take caution while playing, but otherwise, totally fun game, free of ads or in app purchases (I’m not getting paid to say this like those liars on mobile game ads) and it’s a game of pure skill and addictive visuals and fun gameplay.

Sea Turtles!!!
This game is super addicting, while still being super hard. It is very simple, but it is hard when there is so many saw blades you just don’t know where to go or where you’ll end up! Once I got the hang of the controls and the game, it started to become addictive. I think it is so fun to unlock characters, but I have noticed it is hard to unlock large amounts of tickets, which are needed to unlock characters and such. But when you unlock a new character or saw blade or background, their ticket cost goes up for the next unlock. I would suggest maybe adding daily challenges or milestones that give you tickets. I know this has already been suggested by someone else, but it was such a great idea! I think this game is super great, just hard to get tickets. It is so fun!
