This app is exactly what I have been waiting for someone to invent to help me learn español. You can choose your tutor. There’s a variety to choose from at any time. Best of all, you get to actually practice speaking the Spanish but without feeling nervous or fear of getting it wrong. No fear of incorrect syntax bc that’s literally what the app is for. It teaches proper syntax & tells you when you get it wrong, or don’t pronounce it exactly right. All without making you feel nervous at all, so that literally spells success. It’s just like having a fluent Spanish speaking friend in your pocket that you can access anytime, 24/7. They are always ready to gently teach, gently correct. You can stop at any moment you need a break and pick right back up wherever you left off whenever you want. I love the tutors! This is exactly what I needed and what I’ve been waiting on. This is what ai is for!

Issue With Free Trial

One star because of the scam that was run on me. I downloaded this app despite having Duolingo because it claimed it was 100% free in the ad I saw. Upon creating an account I then saw it’s only free for a week trial so I immediately canceled the subscription and used it a few times during that week. Since it was still on my phone after the trial I decided to open the app and see if there was any portion you could use for free. There was no prompt about resubscribing or any other indication that I was now going to be charged for this app. It was also not listed in my “active subscription” area of my iPhone. I was quite surprised when I saw a charge I didn’t recognize and then finding out it was for Learna. Apple’s App Store “customer service” has been absolute trash and I’m told there’s nothing a human can do about this charge now after my initial dispute was handled by their automated system. I’m not sure if Learna or Apple’s App Store is the problem for this charge, but just know, you can be charged for a “re subscription” even when you never consent to this. Highly disappointed in this interaction and have disputed the charge with my credit card company and filed a complaint with the NYS Attorneys General.

Tbh I’ve only been using this for a few minutes, and so far I already knew the first words in phase one due to high school. However I’m still excited to see how much I can learn. I’ve always wanted to learn every language that I possibly can, so that I may converse with all those I encounter. I just wish it was affordable for those who are low income base or little to no income. Although I do understand that it’s worth the price to be able to learn all or any language. I would give it 10 stars if either the free trial was for 30 days and/or if there was a discount for students and low income people.

I want to let people know about my experience with the Learna AI app. The app makes it seem like you can use it for free, which is one of the main reasons I decided to download it in the first place. I was simply trying to learn Spanish and thought it would be a helpful tool.However, after opening the app, it required me to start a free trial before I could actually use most of the features. I did not realize that using the app would involve starting a subscription trial, and I was not planning on paying for anything. Because of this, I felt uncomfortable continuing to use the app.I logged out of the app because I was unsure how to cancel the trial or manage the subscription. For anyone thinking about downloading it, I would recommend being careful and reading the details about the trial before signing up. If you are just looking for a completely free way to learn Spanish, this app may not be the best option.
