Funie
Learn a language with fun
Free · In‑App Purchases
Learn a new language every day — bite-sized lessons, stories and smart flashcards built around the words you actually use.
Funie helps you learn a new language a few minutes a day. Choose from 30+ languages, from Spanish, French and German to Korean, Japanese and Chinese.
Every day you get a short guided session: review your words, practise them in quizzes, matching and listening exercises, learn a grammar point, then read a short story written at your level.
WHAT'S INSIDE

• Example sentences for every word, with translations
• Smart flashcards with spaced repetition: each word comes back right before you would forget it
• Grammar lessons with clear examples
• Graded short stories: tap any word to see its translation
LEARN FROM REAL LIFE
• Snap to learn: point your camera at a sign or a menu to translate it and save new words
• Add your own words: snap your notes or type a word and it becomes a flashcard
• Watch videos and tap any word in the subtitles to translate it

Ratings & Reviews

What's new in Funie:
• Hear every word: pronunciation now plays automatically on flashcards, quiz answers and Basics, and every new word has a speaker button. Turn auto-play off with the speaker switch on the card.
• Better translations in every language: words, example sentences and the app's own text were reviewed and corrected.
• Vocabulary at your level: pick your level in your Profile and new words start there, with hundreds of new intermediate (B1–B2) words.
• Full iPhone Duo support: open it and lessons, flashcards and Home use both halves of the big screen. Closed, the Close button and your friends move into the side bar, and Home's session grid fits the screen.
Funie grows with its community. Thank you for your feedback, and keep it coming from Profile → Feedback!
