Great IPTV player with excellent UI

I’ve been using this IPTV player for a few weeks now, and it’s easily one of the best experiences I’ve had with IPTV so far. The interface is clean, modern, and designed in a way that makes it feel like a premium streaming app instead of a clunky playlist player.Setup was straightforward. Adding my M3U playlist and EPG URL took less than five minutes, and the app pulled everything in without any weird formatting issues. Channels are well organized into categories, and switching between Live TV, Movies, and Series is quick and intuitive. The built‑in TV guide is one of the highlights: it loads fast, shows several days of programming, and makes it easy to see what’s on now and what’s coming up.Performance has been excellent. Channel zapping is fast, streams start almost instantly, and I haven’t run into any freezing or random crashes. I really like the small touches: favorite channels, recently watched list, and the ability to customize the layout, colors, and how many channels you see per row. It feels like the app was actually designed for a remote, not just a phone.Feature-wise, it covers everything I need: multiple playlists, EPG support, catch‑up (when the provider supports it), and basic recording/time‑shift on compatible devices. The parental controls and profile options are also great if you’re sharing the device with family and want different setups for different people.Overall, this is a fantastic IPTV player with an outstanding UI and smooth performance. Clearly, built by an Apple guy with a significant focus on UX, Experience, and Performance. I was floored when I realized that I could do MultiPlay of live streams, easily switching between them, similar to my previous favorite subscription mass-TV streamer. And then… Downloads on iPhone and iPad?! Fantastic. Finally, a cohesive experience no matter what device you are on, Mac, iPhone, iPad, AppleTV. The app just works, seamlessly, never requiring me to login on each device (thanks to the backend system). So, if you are looking at different IPTV Players, stop right here. Also, shell out some $$$ for the amazing work this guy and his crew have done, and are still doing, on this app. It’s Best of Breed, and by a long shot.

The interface is clean and modern, the app feels fast and stable, and it’s packed with quality-of-life features that actually make managing playlists and favorites easy. The biggest win for me is how well it works across devices. I use Chillio on my iPhone, Apple TV, and iPad, and everything stays in sync so I can pick up where I left off no matter what screen I’m on. At this point I’ve switched all of my media over to Chillio because it’s just a better overall experience. If you’re on the fence, try it—this is the first IPTV player I’ve used that feels truly “Apple-quality.”

I’m a regular user of your Chillio IPTV app on Apple TV, and I really appreciate its clean interface and functionality, it’s easily one of the best looking IPTV apps I’ve tried.However, I’ve run into a persistent issue I hope you can help with, every time Chillio launches, it performs a full playlist refresh before loading regardless of whether I’ve chosen hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly refresh frequency. This initial fetch can take from 5-10 minutes or more with larger playlists. If I try to watch while it’s still loading, the video becomes laggy and unpleasant.Here are two suggestions that could help:•Introduce a setting like “Skip update on launch,” so users with already up to date playlists can skip this long fetch and dive straight into watching.•Offer “Manual Refresh” mode letting users control when Chillio updates the playlist and EPG manually.These changes would greatly improve the user experience, especially for people with extensive playlists or slower internet connections.If there’s already an existing workaround I haven’t found like cache settings or advanced configuration I’d be grateful if you could point me toward it.Thanks for your time and for creating such a great app. I’d love to help test any beta features or updates if that’s something you’re planning.
