Speaking at an upcoming conference which required me to provide a headshot. The one I had from a few years back was not a high enough resolution to be used for their publications. Found this app and it worked perfectly. I was able to leverage my existing photos and have their AI do its magic. Within 15 minutes, I had a selection of multiple headshots that were great! I not only sent one along for the conference but also updated my internal photo at my company as well as LinkedIn.

I paid $5.99 to get 12 photos. Half the photos looked like I have a tumor growing out of my cheek the size of a baseball. A few photos made me pale, like I was nauseous. I may have been given 2 that I like, but in all of my photos my hair is short like a bob when I uploaded photos with long hair below my shoulders. I don’t hate it, I just don’t have short hair. I also was displayed an announcement that a new feature was released that I could edit the photos if I didn’t like them, so I clicked on that banner… then I was served a payment request for an additional $4.99. After I had to pay just to see if I would even trust the AI to generate photos worth paying for. I have to pay $4.99 to tell this app to try again because I don’t have short hair and 10 of 12 photos are not usable. I received 3 credits to enhance photos because I left a review. I tried using those credits just now to try again, but was delivered the same photos. So, those credits were useless. The only reason I gave this app 1 star was because there were 1 or 2 photos that were actually decent - albeit with the wrong hair cut. 3 of the photos even made me a doctor! Not one of the photos I uploaded were in a medical scene. I don’t know why I received 3 photos making me out to be a doctor.

Works well for AI. Still a few tells that it’s not a real photograph but that’s to be expected but the quality is nice. I will say that when you pay for these pictures you should be able to edit those for free considering you can’t see them ahead of time. There were obviously details that would need to be fixed for a professional photo, so I’m thinking those errors were on purpose. Examples of this are exposed midriff in a suite, a much too low top to be professional, and an engagement ring when no submitted photos had such. So despite the obvious money grab for edits after you get to see your pics there are still some usable pictures you can download and tweak.

I did the 40 for 9.99 package and at least half of them are so inaccurate that I can not use. They make the images look as if every female has implants and wears low cut blouses to show the implant cleavage! That is NOT me. I have a small chest so all the pictures that look like I just had an enhancement surgery are completely useless. They SAY you can edit them but nothing happens when you write the inaccuracies. And because all the pictures assume you have imply, you can’t just make a blanket edit. But it wouldn’t matter, they don’t actually edit the photos. You are just stuck with what you get. Accurate or not. Don’t spend the money if you want accurate photos.
