- Daily boards: a fresh board every day in Classic, Rush, Sprint, Colors, Dico and Snake.
- Weekly Challenge: three hand-picked boards each week. Earn three stars on each to complete it, with a new set every Monday.
- New mode: Snake. Trace words that bend across the board, up to 15 letters long, and hunt for the hidden serpent.
- New mode: Chrono. Beat your records and earn medals from bronze to diamond.
- Versus, redesigned: a new mode picker, and Snake is now a Versus mode.
- Share your replays: send a link to any finished board, and friends can watch your game in their browser.
- A new home: Me, Shop, Play, Challenges and Versus are now one tap away in the tab bar.
- Widgets and shortcuts: see today's boards and the Weekly Challenge on your Home Screen and Lock Screen.
- Game Center challenges: challenge friends on today's daily boards.
- Accessibility: full VoiceOver support, so you can build words by tapping tiles and every verdict is read aloud. Swapl now respects Reduce Motion and Differentiate Without Color, and text grows with your preferred size.
- A fresh look: new typography, a new Platinum theme, and cheaper themes, tile fonts and backgrounds in the Shop.
- Many smaller improvements and fixes.
