I spent a whole month stalled at level 34. No matter what you do, no matter how much you level up your cards (if you’re allowed to progress far enough to earn the cards and coins to progress), you can not progress. The cost to upgrade is high, the upgrades are minimal at best, and the power and defense of the enemies increases far too high each time you move to the next level. To put it simply, you have to destroy each monster in 2 hits if you expect to even pass the level, no exceptions. If you pass a level, the next level starts the monsters at 4 hits to destroy. Again, no exceptions. In order to beat the next level, you are expected to upgrade your cards at minimum 4 times. You can not earn enough cards and coins to do this in a reasonable amount of time (3+ weeks to be able to upgrade once is NOT reasonable). So, if you’re looking for a game that keeps you in the same repeating cycle without allowing you to move forward, this game is for you. Everyone else, just move on. It’s really not worth your time.
Simple Fun but frustrating

The basic premise is simple - protect your castle from attacking monsters. The first 5 stages are pretty easy and serve as a good tutorial, but then you hit your first difficulty shelf. Stage 2 is like 1% harder than stage 1. Stage 3 is like 2% harder than 2, stage 4 is like 2% harder than stage 3 and so on. But stage 6 is like 3000% harder than stage 5. It is impossible to finish - not difficult - IMPOSSIBLE. Until you spend 2-3 hours replaying stages1-5 to farm resources and upgrade your cannon and heroes. The same thing happens around stage 19 or so, except this time you have to spend more like 4 or 5 hours farming for resources. By stage 22 -23, you are spending 6-8 hours farming resources to beat anything. Then they add daily dungeon challenges. The first one was hard, but winnable. After that, they are all impossible - so why even offer them? Several of the daily dungeon challenges include “bosses” that, even with weapons that are well upgraded, you can’t take more than 10-15% of the boss health off before he destroys your wall, so what is the point? The game gets frustrating after stage 5, which might take you 20-30 minutes to reach, but after that, the difficulty shelves are just too punishingly steep - it’s just not fun to go play stage 19 75 times to try to upgrade 2 heroes so you can maybe beat stage 20, then do the same thing again to beat stage 21.

We also added idle reward to help with the progress. We understand that some stages were too difficult after the last update, so we released an update with rebalanced difficulty of some stages that were too hard. We hope you'll try it! We are still reviewing the feedbacks and fine tuning. We hope the next update will improve your experience!

I haven’t found a game I enjoy this much in quite a while. I’m glad they’re still adding features though. It’s a little bare in certain ways but it plays so well. Graphics, characters, and mechanics are all pretty fantastic. You just can’t get much play time. The energy to battle is really restricting. Once you hit mid 30’s it’s just a slow grind for gold to get upgrades to beat higher levels. Checking weaknesses and employing strategies is really cool though.They just need to add some additional modes. A large endless battle mode with full power and all characters would be cool. An additional mode that’s not energy reliant would be nice too. Even if the rewards are minimal it would be nice to enjoy the game. Anyway, still worth 5 stars. I hope they keep up the good work!
Starting game issue

I’m using a iPhone 17 Pro Max with ios version 26.3.1 and plenty of free iPhone storage space available to install multi games similar to the size of this game. Every time I attempt to open and launch the game, the black background and game logo presumed to be the “Booting up” has two issues. The first is not showing any signal or sign in a way that indicates the game is in the process of starting and and loading up like a “Progress bar” and the second is that is doesn’t load and start up at all. I tried several troubleshooting steps, Closing the game app entirely and opening it up again, uninstalling and reinstalling the game, rebooting and or restarting my phone and running a “Network reset function” under my iPhone’s reset settings. Non of those methods started the game up successfully. At the time of writing this review and had just installed the game prior, the software version of the game was updated 14 hours ago according to the game’s App Store page. I strongly believe this is the result of a booting up and game loading bug problem that was either not addressed in the latest software update or is a newly introduced software bug that came out of the wild. This needs to be fixed
