To All Our Valued Spoken Users, First, we would like to offer our sincere apologies. With this update, the Speaking feature will be removed from the app. (Though it may make a comeback someday.) As a replacement, we’ve added an exciting — and perhaps a little bizarre — new feature. 【Game】 Mode You can now enjoy a survival game where you shoot down waves of incoming enemies. It’s that kind of game — where you increase the size of your army, fend off enemies and obstacles, and if your squad is wiped out, it’s game over. Is it just a fun, time-draining feature? No, not at all. After thoroughly enjoying the game, you’ll be surprised to discover that your English skills have naturally improved. If you’re going to "burn through time" anyway, wouldn’t it be better to do so in a way that’s productive for you?

This time, we’ve made several detailed updates. Among the smaller adjustments, the highlight of this update is that the post-lesson screen has been made a bit more glamorous. We can’t help but express our admiration, encouragement, and praise for everyone who has completed their lessons. For you, who took another step forward today, the scenery may not look much different from yesterday. However, you’ll realize that a year from now, the scenery will look vastly different from what you see now.

We apologize for the update delay, as our developer was in India for a week. While there’s no conscious sense of a changed perspective on life, there seems to be a subtle shift, judging by how carefully they are writing the latest version notes. This update primarily focuses on vocabulary features, addressing some of those lingering issues. For instance, try tapping on any unfamiliar word that appears in Speaking or Listening modes. While the instant display of word meanings remains unchanged, the word-saving feature should now feel much smoother. Additionally, we’ve changed the background color options to white and black. We realize now that using an indigo background all this time was a misstep. And if you noticed that the “Close” button in the upper right is now about 4px larger, you might consider channeling that level of focus into your studies. In the vocabulary note feature, you’ll notice some subtle UI tweaks. Our proud word-illustration display now scales up to about 1.4 times when shown in larger view. We’ve also added a button to delete all “Remembered” words at once. This should help your notes flow more freely, enabling you to save even more words you want to learn.
