I downloaded MyHome in the hopes that it would help me find and hire local contractors for various jobs in my house and rental property. In the past, I would normally trawl Google and Angie’s List, but the process was tiresome and it was difficult to get transparent quotes and timely responses. MyHome has absolutely changed that dynamic, and I was very surprised by how quick and easy it was to find expert help. I was able to set up an account within a couple minutes, post my job, and have a response from a vendor all within the same day. The payments are managed through the app, making the process even more streamlined than what I’ve been accustomed to. If you’re in the need of services in any area of your home (from lawn care, chimney sweeps, plumbing, and just about all others), I would certainly give MyHome a try. A centralized place for keeping track of all maintenance for one’s home is a much needed capability I haven’t found elsewhere. I will absolutely be using it as my go-forward tool for managing all contracted jobs for my house.

If you’re a new homeowner or someone who can’t fix everything, I cannot recommend this app enough. It will save you time on searching for your problem and who can be your solution. This is what smart phones were made for.I’m not a fix-it-all type of person, so the feature I love the most is determining my “Home Score”. This app is so simple and helpful because it guides you with questions about your house. It helps you determine how healthy your home is and what sort of help you might need. I’d prefer people to “explain it to me like in 5”. This app will do that for you. It is intuitive and easy to navigate. It will help you narrow down your search for what a problem may be and who can locally help you out.

Never really seen a home services platform like this before. The UX/UI is sick and it works really well. I have been using Nextdoor and FB to find referrals for the jobs I need done around my house but this is so much easier and I actually trust it. It automatically knows my house details and it takes seconds to post a job. I got offers really quick. The AI is very cool and it really works. I set up my monthly lawn care (grass cutting) and I can message and pay and reschedule all in the app and I’ve never had a way to message my lawn guys before (just had to call). This is way better and they are cheaper actually too from who I was using.

I recently had some work done at my home and I used the new Oply app. I have used other apps and found so much frustration that I typically just google and try to find expert to do work for me. No one calls back, no shows, they actually asked me if they can use some tools of mine, probably much like what you have experienced. The Oply app was amazingly easy to use. I plan to use it as often as possible, it was easy to use, I had an expert job done by a real professional that I could trust. I can see where Oply can feel like I have an actual project manager working for me on my home.
