• Long-press any song to play it, play it next or later, add it to a mix or remove it from one, download it or free its space, or delete it. • Playback keeps going between songs: upcoming tracks download ahead of time, and the player tells you when it is waiting on a download, with its real progress. • Remove Download now frees the space. A new storage limit keeps downloads under the size you choose. • Albums keep their track order while songs download. Track numbers are now read from FLAC and M4A files too, and albums show their year and genre. • Changes made on your other devices show up without relaunching. Deleting a song removes it from iCloud and from your other devices. • Song lists show each file's format, and a single download icon follows each song's state. • iPad: a full-screen player with a big vinyl, drag and drop onto the player to play or queue, reorder Up Next, landscape support and a redesigned sidebar. • A new launch intro and new materials (leather, walnut and brushed metal), plus more realistic turntable scratching. • The welcome screens are now available in 31 languages. • Faster launch, smoother lists and lower battery use during sync.
