Sky Gambers-Cold War is a decent jet combat game, but with a fairly limited aircraft selection to choose from and with a shallow storyline (not that the story is really THAT important). Unlike Stormraiders, Cold War doesn’t allow the player to choose the weapons load-out, and the load the planes come with is usually pitifully small (one or two radar guided missiles and two or three IR-guided missiles). Also, for some reason all of the historical jets have been given visual makeovers (for instance the "RFU4" (F-4 Phantom) has a really ridiculous-looking twin tail and an air scoop on top of the fuselage). I assume that this is to avoid some sort of copyright infringement. If you're really into historical aircraft, these ugly mods can be kind of annoying. Otherwise, the gameplay istelf is at least as good as Stormraiders, but there is only one campaign as opposed to two.

I haven’t had any issues with this game, and quiet frankly find it amusing, and enjoyable, like all the others in its series.

cold War by SKy Gamblers is the best multi generation air combat simulator I have ever played on the iOS or macOS plarform. I am albsolutel thrilled it is now ab=vaiable on th Mac Desktop. You can choose any of th emajor jets and propeller driven warplanes from post WW2 to 4th Genration gighters. The AI an dnon player character and player character competition is great. Hands down thiis the best flight sim for air combat I have ever played. Well done ! I

I really enjoy this game. It is the best of the 3 versions I have. It still has the same problem that rears it’s head about 50% of the time and that is it says it regonizes my joystick and when I get to the game, it hasn’t requireing me to quit the game and reboot it. Not that big an issue when weighed against the amount of enjoyment I get from it.
